Disclosure: As I said a couple chapters ago, the next few chapters will be strictly FANON, with canon elements and still keeping to the majority of the AoT plot. I am simply incorporating mini arcs of my own creation into the mix, which will therefore extend the timeline by a few more months, specifically the timeline between Sawney and Bean being killed and the day of the 57th Exterior Expedition. There will be four months between both events, as opposed to the canon one month in the anime/manga. You have been warned so that I do not have to hear anyone's mouth later on and so there is no confusion. Carry on beautiful people!

Oh, don't play the audio yet, I'll let you know! I'm featuring a song from my Tempest playlist.

To say Hange was a complete wreck about losing Sawney and Bean........, I mean, it was like watching someone torture a baby. Hange had been in tears for what felt like hours, but it was only twenty minutes. With literally every Garrison and Survey Corps soldier were watching the spectacle, I could overhear Eld and Gunther talking about that whomever was behind killing the two Titans had to have escaped using ODM gear. It made sense, the only people who would know how to take out a titan would be a soldier. The questions remained: who was it and what was their motive?

I felt really bad for Hange though. Even though most people thought she was odd for trying to understand Titans, all of her research and hard work meant a lot to her. I never liked seeing her upset and this was one of those times.

"Erwin's coming up on your right." Folake whispered, quickly leaving before he could take me by surprise.

I could hear his footsteps growing closer, despite Hange's sobbing and wailing in the background. To the untrained eye, it merely looked like he here to see the extent of the incident himself, but to my eye, he was trying to get answers.

"If you're going to ask what I think you are, I couldn't tell you." I whispered, knowing that he was right behind my shoulder. I had to be cryptic just in case someone who shouldn't was eavesdropping.

"I'd expect no less from you. Be sure to keep an eye out." Erwin continued making his way through the crowd of soldiers, which most would just think nothing of it. Too bad I knew better.

I had a feeling by now, he had some suspicions that we potentially had spies in the ranks, and this little incident just confirmed that we do. If I know my former mentor as well I think I do, then he already has a plan of weeding out who they potentially could be. It didn't make sense to me for a soldier to do it, what motive could they possibly have? Well, if they're truly spies against the military, then who are they working for? There's usually some crafty, demented mastermind behind situations like these. I'm definitely touching base with Sinead later today.

Speaking of, after everyone dispersed, I could see Sinead carefully walking around where the bones of Sawney and Bean were left. Her eyes were looking at the ground, scanning it as if there was perhaps an indicator on the ground of the potential suspects. She took out a magnifying glass from her jacket's pocket holding it down on a random spot near the bones.

"Hey! What do you think you're doing? This is the police's jurisdiction now, brat." Levi's voice directed my attention over to him approaching Sinead. For Spirit's sake, let her do her job, shorty!

"In case I need to remind you, Captain Levi, my squad runs just a wee bit different than the rest of the Survey Corps. I'm well within my right to be assisting with this investigation, regardless of the branch of the military. Now, I believe I may have found a potential lead for Commander Erwin." Sinead motioned for the little tyke to crouch down next to her.

Being that I was curious as well, a looked over both of their shoulders to see what Sinead had found. "If you look closely, what is it that you see?"
