-Daisten-

Darn that girl and her family. My first thought when I saw her was that she's the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. My second thought was, she's an enemy. My third thought was, she's an enemy.

When our world came into view, the Pretts eyes larged ten times the size, and I swear I saw drool hanging from one of the guy's mouths. I've never seen anybody so speechless about seeing our world. I'm sure if we were to go to their planet, we would be just as surprised.

"This is Lesging, our closet and biggest square," my mother said, as the Pretts eyed the foreign space. I took a peek at Azalea, and narrowed my eyes at her. My mother nudged me, her arms crossed over her chest.

"Be nice, love," she said, giving me a small smile.

"We weren't expecting you guys, so we'll just have to take you guys to our headquarters ourselves. If you would . . ." my mother started, before that tall brunette opened her mouth. I think her name is Raena. Quite honestly I don't care what her name is, all I care about is that she returns to her plant and leaves us alone. I snarled at her, as her eyes flashed.

"Wait. Are you saying you're going to fly us to your headquarters?" She gave an incredible laugh.

"I don't think so," she said, looking at Jasper and Laura, who simply shrugged. Raena's eyes widened and her mouth gaped. Winston walked to where I stood, and nudged my arm.

"Looks like somebody's afraid of heights," Winston quietly chuckled so I could only hear. I grinend. My mother shot us a glare, and we broke away, still grinning. Azalea's hazel eyes met mine, and I glowered at her. She looked away.

"I assure you that this is safe. If you're still not comfortable, I can have one of my men take you up in one of our cars," my mother offered. Raena stiffened as the attention drifted to her.

"No that won't be necessary," Jasper said, saving her from embarrassing herself. My mother's eyebrows kissed in concern, but she said nothing else.

"Marcel, Daisten, Leon, and I myself can take five of you guys up at a time, or to make it faster, you can also have my fellow workers here take you up. Sawyer will meet us at the headquarters," my mother said.

"We're fine with your workers taking us up too," Laura said, sunshine radiating off of her. She seemed genuine and her smile was broad.

"Sawyer, head up now, and we'll meet you there," my mother said, facing Sawyer. He nodded, and disappeared in search of a car. My mother faced the rest of us, including the fellow workers.

"I want three people per person. One will carry them, the other two defend in case of something," my mother said to the cluster of people. They each in turn nodded, and soon the Pretts were flying in the sky. My mother assessed the numbers, her eyes calculating.

"Winston, take Raena. Marcel, you take Jasper, and Daisten, you have Azalea. Leon, you take Stephen, and I will take Laura," she said. I don't know how I ended with Azalea, but the odds are never in my favor. I also don't know who Stephen is, and how my mother knows him.

After a few minutes of chatter, they took off to the sky. Azalea and I were the only ones left, aside from the people who walked around. She shields her face as she looks at them.

"Scared?" I asked, crossing my arms. I was in no rush to leave, whatsoever.

"No," she said, but her face betrayed her. I smirked and my wings opened. Azalea's eyes left her mother and father and drifted to my large black wings. I sighed, and uncrossed my arms. As much as I hated this, I can't be responsible if something happens to her.
