"She's gotten so big, look at you." Betty smiled widely looking at lyric, touching her hair.

"You're a beautiful little girl."

"Kyan would love her, she look just like him." A girl named Ziyana said.

"You knew my daddy?"

"Of course, he was like my brother, so that makes us, hmmm somewhat you're my niece and I'm your auntie." She smiled.

"Really? Only auntie I've ever had was meme." Lyric frowned.

"Well you got another one now." She smiled at lyric making Iudora smile as well.

"How come mommy never brought me over here? Mommy says that family has to stick together at all times." Lyric twisted her lips.

"Because your mommy needed time to herself. She took a break but she's back now and that's all that should matter." Ziyana expressed to her.

Lyric nodded her head before going over to play with the other kids and Iudora sighed. It had been a while since she had been over bettys house.

Though they didn't stay too far from each other, they lived on the same block, hell. But Ziyana was right. She needed a break.

After Kyan died she didn't dare associate herself with anybody on that block because they were all reminders of him. It was weird for her too.

They both grew up on the same block, all when things were good and she never paid him any mind, but he always minded her. She remembered when they had first met, she had just moved there because she her parents couldn't afford the house they had lived in before.

Which she was mad she had to leave her friends behind and she was about seven or eight. That's when she had to go outside and play on her bike, her mama basically had to force her. Kyan ended up stopping her trying to flirt.

She simply waved him off because she was young, but as they had gotten older the flirting never seemed to stop.

"I'm happy to see you back out." Ziyana cheeses.

"Right, we missed you." Betty said.

"I'm glad to be out, I missed y'all too. Just needed time. A very long time. Everything just reminds me of him. Literally."

"I bet lyric does too. She looks so much like him. I get it though. I wouldn't want to be around either if my soul mate died the same place where we grew up." Ziyana shrugged.
