Author's Note for Do You Promise?

 hope you enjoyed my first shot at flash fiction. Do You Promise? is my first flash fiction, main male character, completed work to be put on Wattpad. It's meant to offer hope.

We all know what it's like to be sick, or worse, the whole family sick. A tension permeates the household, a tiredness, a dread. The very air seems tainted with it.

It's during those times, I find, that our minds reach forth to a time ahead. A time when God says there will be no such thing as the stomach bug. It seems so far away.

But He promises. He promises that one day it will no longer be this way. And I trust that it won't. My hope is in my God.

If you don't believe in God that may seem weak to you. But if this is normal, if disease and death are normal and there's nothing beyond that, than who wants it? Really, who does? Who wants to face reality, if that's what it is? On the other hand, what if it isn't?
