<-Lily's POV->

I sighed as I laid on my bed, thinking about what Leka had done to my parents and grandparents, wondering how I should react to it. Sure, I was glad they were dead, but I wish that they didn't think I murdered them when it happened. And how the heck would Ava had reacted when she found all of the dead bodies?

"Hey, Lily!" Asher called from the living room. "Ava's here!"

Oo, boy. I'm in deep water when she tells them.

I sighed and got out of my bed and headed downstairs. There, Ava was sitting on the couch, looking like she saw something horrific. She was rocking back and forth, knees clutched to her chest.

"Ava, are you okay?" Jamie asked. "We can't help you if you don't tell us what happened."

"T-Turn on the news," she muttered.

"I'll get the remote," I said, walking over to the coffee table. I picked up the remote and turned on the TV and switched to the news.

"Breaking news," a news broadcaster said. "There was a murder of four people today at this very house. Two women and two men were killed today, one was stabbed, one was shot, and the other two hung themselves. Two elderly people were found hanging in the bathroom of the house, one holding a gun, one holding a knife. We assume that they killed the other two and then committed suicide. Investigation is going on to figure out what happened, however, we cannot find any traces of the bullet in the younger woman's body. We have an interview with the daughter of the younger man and woman."

A recording of Ava was played on screen. "I don't know what happened. I had gone up to my room to read when I heard the gunshot. I had run downstairs to find my father on the ground in the living room with a stab wound and my mother against the wall behind the couch with a bullet in her. I then heard another gunshot coming from the bathroom and by the time I got up there, my grandparents were hanging from the ceiling, each holding a weapon. I don't think they did it. I feel like someone else did it and put the blame on them. My little sister had come by here earlier, however, she wasn't anywhere after I had gone to investigate. I'm worried about her. I just can't believe this happened."

"Thank you, Jim," the news anchor said.

I turned off the TV before he could finish what he was going to say and set the remote back down. I looked over at Jamie and Asher to see their reaction to this and they were looking at me in surprise.

"What?" I asked.

"What were you doing at their house?!" Jamie said. "I thought we agreed we wouldn't be going to that place ever!"

"I was forced to, okay?!" I yelled. "Remember how I told you that I was being controlled by someone who killed most of the 8th graders? She forced me to go to our parents' house and she killed them and our grandparents!"

"Wait," Ava said, standing up. "You're being controlled by the same person who killed all of those kids at your middle school?!"

"Did I forget to tell you that?" I asked nervously.

"Um, yes?" she said. "What's this chick's name?"

Leka popped out of my necklace, causing me to fall onto the ground. "I believe you mean me?"

"What do you want?" Asher asked, grabbing his sword from where it was leaning against the couch.

I stood up and sighed. "Guys, this is Leka. She's the stupid bitch who is controlling me and killed most of the eighth-graders at the middle school. Leka, you already know my brothers. And that girl next to them is my older sister, Ava."

"So you're the once homophobic sister I've heard about," Leka said with a smirk.

"Yes, and they all know how much I regret that," she said. "My brother is allowed to be bi, my other brother is allowed to be a straight ally, and my sister is allowed to be lesbian. I realized that when I started high school."

"Smart girl," Leka said, clapping her hands together. "What made you change your mind?"

"That's for my siblings to know and for you to never find out," Ava said. "Leave my sister alone."

"Hmm, no," she said. "After all, we're at war."

"War?!" my siblings yelled.

"Like I know what she means," I said. "Leka here is saying that she started a war and she's the enemy. However, I do not understand exactly what she means by this because she doesn't tell me shit."

"Yes, I have started a war," Leka said. "This war is one I'm going to win. I started by killing the ones that hurt you Lily, but next, I'll kill the people that care for you, and finally, I'll break our life or death bond and kill you, giving me victory in this war. So be patient, my dear slave."

"She is not a slave," Jamie said, grabbing his scythe. "Leave! Now!"

"You all suck," she said, jumping back into my necklace, causing me to fall onto my back.

"Ow," I said, standing up. "Why did you have to make me land on my back so hard?"

"Because."

"So, what are we going to do now?" Jamie said, setting down his scythe. "We're dealing with someone who wants to start a war and kill us all!"

"I don't know!" I said. "I-I'm thinking!"

"Why did you even accept that offer?" Asher asked.

"Because she said she would take care of the bullies, Mom, Dad, and maybe Grandma and Grandpa! I'm weak! She's strong! I trusted her, but she broke my trust the moment she recommended killing someone," I said, sinking down onto the floor. "I'm...so freaking stressed about this and I don't know what the hell I should do!"

"Lily, calm down," Ava said.

"Ava, you heard what she said," I said, looking up at her. "She's planning on killing me last. Meaning I have to think of a plan to stop her before she can kill you guys!"

"Lily," Ava said. "Look at me. Look at me, goddamnit," I looked up at her chocolate brown eyes. "We are going to get through this war together, okay? We're all in this together. You, me, your brothers, your friends. We'll show Leka whose boss and win this war. But only if you give us a chance to prove that we're on your side."

I looked down at the floor and back up to Ava, my gaze glancing to Asher and Jamie, Asher giving me a thumbs up, Jamie giving me a supportive smile. I sighed.

"If you guys get hurt because of me, I'm never going to forgive myself," I said. "Starting tomorrow, Ava is going to join our training and we're going to start training even harder."

"Yes, ma'am," they all said, saluting to me.

"Don't do that, I'm not a general of an army."

We all laughed. This was the first time I had laughed all day. And it would be the last time I gave my siblings a real laugh.

Or so I thought.

-x-

So, just to clarify some things. Yes, Asher is now a straight ally. So why did I change his sexuality? Because, one, both he and the person Lance is based on are straight allies in real life. Two, I made an illegal ship that I lost touch with (Asher x Lance). Three, Lance will also now be a straight ally in this story from now on. I'm sorry if you started to like that ship, but it's illegal and will not be happening.

So, yeah. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this chapter and I'll see you guys in the next one.

Bye Slayers!
