<-Lily's POV->

I looked at Leka as she turned to face me and my friends all the way, gripping her katana tightly. Her eyes glared at me as if I was the last person she wanted to see. I found this strange, as she was the one who wanted me to come here with all of my friends.

"What do you want from me, Leka?!" I shouted. "Haven't you done enough damage? You killed my friends, my parents, my grandparents, and several others! And for what reason?!"

"I didn't call you here to answer your dumb questions," she said. "Those are things you need to figure out on your own."

"Then what do you want from me?"

She drew her katana out of the guard and pointed it at me. "How about a duel?"

Shit. I'm no good with swords, I thought. She must know this. Otherwise, she wouldn't have asked to fight me with a sword. I looked over at my friends and a memory popped into my head. When Leka was about to attack Jamie, I picked up Asher's sword and used it to fend her off. When Leka was about to kill Grace, I had escaped the necklace, summoned a sword, and fought her. I realized that I could fight with a sword, I just chose not to. And this was my chance to win.

I summoned a sword and sighed. "You're on, Leka. If I win, you'll leave me and my friends and family alone and you'll tell me why you're doing this. If you win, you get to do whatever you want with one of us. Deal?"

I stuck out my hand, waiting for her to shake it. She looked at my hand and began to think about it. I began to get impatient as I waited and eventually she shook it.

"Deal. Let the duel start, then, shall it?" she said, swinging her katana around.

I gripped the sword in my hands tightly. "It shall."

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath in. One wrong move will end up having a severe consequence. I had to focus, even though I have ADHD*, without the hyperactivity. My eyes darted around the room, looking for something I could use as an advantage. However, I couldn't find anything. I sighed and prepared for the attacks.

Leka charged in my direction and swung her sword, aiming for my neck, but I managed to block it with my sword. I pushed the blade away from me and the swords began to clash, the metal constantly clanging against each other.

"Ready to give up?" Leka asked as if she was confident that she was going to win this fight. "C'mon! I know you want to!"

"Not a chance!" I shouted back. "I refuse to let everyone that I still have left DIE! I'm not abandoning my friends or my siblings!"

"You mean like the way you abandoned your other friends, your parents, and your grandparents?"

"H-Huh?"

Leka laughed. "You had a chance to save your parents and grandparents and you refused to fight back. It was the same for your poor, English classmates and the friends you had in that class except for her," she pointed at Sara. "And yet again, you REFUSED to fight back! You're such a selfish person! All you care about is YOURSELF!"

I dropped my sword and looked down at the floor. I-I had a chance...to save my friends and family? A-And...I refused?

"Lily, don't listen to her!" Ava called to me. "She's trying to get under your skin!"

Leka used her magic to gag my sister. "Quiet, you stupid bitch!"

"No."

Leka looked over at me in surprise. "What did you say?"

"You said I had a chance to save my friends and family, right?" I said, looking at her, red eyes to green eyes. "It's hilarious! The fact that you thought I could save them! I wanted to, oh believe me I did, but how could I, when YOU were the one who locked in the goddamn necklace?! YOU were the one who chose to kill them. YOU were the one who came to me that night and lied about helping me get revenge. YOU are NOTHING but a FUCKING PSYCHOPATH! SO TELL ME, LEKA! WHY?! WHY DID YOU DO IT?!"

"Y-You're lying!" she said.

I walked up to her and grabbed her shirt. I was exhausted from the fight and from the training we had done beforehand, but I wasn't going to let that stop me.

"You're the liar, here," I said. "You killed all of those people...just because you wanted to. Well? Am I wrong? You have no idea what true friendship is. What it's like to know that someone is there to look out for you. So, while I still have the energy, I might as well do one last thing to end this fight once and for all."

"What are you-"

I used my other hand and grabbed Leka's copy of the necklace. I closed my eyes and squeezed the heart pendant tightly and let the magic she had given me run through me and into the necklaces. I felt a pair of wings appear on my back and I felt myself grow tired, but I couldn't stop. I had no choice. I felt the necklaces shatter by my hands and I heard Leka's screams as I teleported her far away from where I was.

Eventually, I stopped because there was nothing left for me to do. I opened my eyes and felt myself losing balance. My friends and siblings ran over to me and gave me a hug and told me things, but I wasn't listening. My ears were ringing and I had trouble hearing them properly. I felt my weight shift and I fell to the floor.

And then everything went black. The last thing I heard, was Grace and my siblings calling my name.

-Meanwhile-

<-Leka's POV->

I opened my eyes and looked around. I was in a city. It was dark outside. The sky was no longer red, but black and the stars were barely visible. I stood up and looked around. Where was I? My eyes noticed glowing, electronic signs with advertisements and other random shit. I noticed a giant ball, sitting atop a tall building. I noticed fountains and thousands of people, so many that I couldn't count.

New York City? Well, that is a faraway place from the abandoned castle.

I sighed. I had no idea that someone who was given powers by me could be so powerful. And to add to that fact, the fact that she learned how to use her magic so quickly was amazing. I was surprised. Lily's words echoed into my head.

You have no idea what true friendship is. What it's like to know that someone is there to look out for you.

I grabbed onto the broken chain of the necklace Lily had destroyed and pulled it off. I looked at it and felt myself beginning to cry.

True...friendship? W-What is that?

If you can't join using any of these, then I guess you're out of luck. I'm kind of new to Casting Call, so I don't know if you're supposed to have an account to audition on there, so if someone could inform me about that, that'd be great.
