When we made it into the movie, we took seats near the isle, close to the back of the theater. The credits began to roll as we sat down. I glanced at Julian who I noticed was looking at me. He smiled and we watched the action film in silence. We didn't talk through the whole film and by the end he had his arm wrapped around my shoulders and I unknowingly put my head on his shoulder. I breathed in his scent. It was a minty and pine combination. I closed my eyes for a second, he noticed and kissed my forehead.

The movie ended and I grabbed Julian's hand and dragged him to my truck. The whole time trying to ignore the tingles going up my arm. He was slightly unresponsive as I pulled him along. We got to my truck in seconds, I released his hand and went to my door. I drove him home. It was late by the time I pulled into his driveway and it would be even later when I got home.

I yawned as I parked the truck. Julian was fast asleep in his seat. I scoffed to myself and thought, only he would fall asleep in the car on the way home from the movies. Sighing I got out of the truck and opened his door. He groaned when I took off his seatbelt and his head lolled to the side. I slung him over my shoulder like a bag of grain and shut the truck door. When I reached the door and knocked he groaned into my shoulder.

I could hear his parents approaching the door. What would I tell them? 'He feel asleep' is extremely obvious, but they might not know why. I'll just say he was over tired. I was startled when the door opened. His mother stood there looking carefully at the scene before her.

"Charm, lovely to see you again. I'm just a little curious as to how my son ended up over your shoulder." She explained and pulled the door open wider to let me in.

"I don't know what happened he just passed out. He's over my shoulder because I didn't want to wake him. He looked so tired on the way home." She nodded and walked off to his room, motioning me to follow. I trailed after her with Julian over my shoulder.

I made it to his room just as he was starting to weigh my shoulders down. Relieved to be free of his weight I set his bed. His mom had already pulled back the covers so it was easy to get him in bed. As I was straightening up Julians arm wound around my shoulders and he pulled me down onto him. I let out a squeak as I fell onto him and his eyes immediately opened. His mom had exited the room to go to the bathroom.

I gulped and smiled shyly. He groaned and stared at me. The first words out of his mouth were. "Am I dreaming?" I didn't know what to do so I cleared my throat and knelt beside him, breaking his grip on my shoulders.

"Your definitely not asleep anymore." I stated. He seemed to relax a bit as he let out a loud sigh. He yawned and layed back on his pillow.

I got off the bed. "I have to go home now. Its late, I'll see you tomorrow." He nodded and I left the room. I made it to my truck and drove all the way home. I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.

The next morning, I woke up to see my mom leaning over me with a bucket of ice water. She is not thinking of doing that. Is she? I didn't want to find out, but I was too late, the cold water hit my skin and I jolted forward in my bed and sent my mother a glare.

She left shortly after and I started to get ready. I was tired and didn't want to get up, but I had to take my mattress outside so it could air dry. Hauling the mattress down the stairs and out the door, I leaned it against the house wall and went back inside. My dad was in the living room relaxing before he had to go out to the fields. He nodded at me as I walked past him.

I took a shower, got dressed in a blue top and gray skinny jeans, and went to have breakfast. After a pancake breakfast I got in my truck and went to Julians'. I was surprised to see he was expecting me. He sat on the curb and as I pulled up he jumped in and buckled up. "Drive!" He says. I look at him as if he's insane and pull away from the curb.
