"I'm so sorry M, I totally forgot! Are you guys almost done studying?" I asked. I wanted to be there, I really did. How had I lost track of time? I don't even know
"Oh... Were doing okay, but I was wondering if you were going to join us or just stay home and staring at your new guitar?" She asked a little upset. I'm going to make it up to all of them.
"Well we are done studying but we were going to hang out at the mall for the rest of the day. Did you want to join us?" she asked in a surprisingly pleasant tone. I was completely taken back. That was so unexpected, because about thirty seconds ago she sounded like she wanted to smash my guitar. I bet she was contemplating ringing my neck like a sopping towel.
"I would love to join y'all but can we get something to eat? Mom's cooking again tonight. I think Biscuit is going to hate me if I give her my dinner again." Biscuit is my year old Yorkshire Terrier. She is so small, that I fear she will die. Due to large consumption of moms' terrible cooking. I threw up dinner one time and had to say I had a stomach bug. She believed me because I never lie. We all know a white lie is meant to make everyone feel better but it never works with me. People can read me like a book.
"Sure we can get pizza in town if you want to join us. We'll meet you at Panago in 20." she stated and I could just imagine her glaring at a wall thinking it's me. I sighed into the phone.
"I'll see you guys there." I said before adding, "bye." I hung up without giving her a chance to reply. I was so anxious to get going, I grabbed my wallet of my dresser and shoved it into my back pocket.
I raced down the stairs and went out to my new truck. I swung into it and started the truck. I took off down the road to Panago. After about twenty-one minutes of driving I pulled into Panago. As I was walking in I pushed open the door with such force, I threw the person exiting, to the ground. My luck today, I can't believe it. I ran over to the person. It was a boy about 6"2' with dark brown hair that went across his forehead, giving him side bangs. He had chocolate brown eyes and an average build. He was moaning and holding his crotch in his hands. I offered my hand to him.
"I'm so sorry, here let me help you up." I said shaking my offered hand in front of his pained face. He reached forward and grabbed my hand. Shocks started to go through my body as I hauled him to his feet. He dusted off his tight white tee shirt and his stone washed jeans.
"I won't die but I'm going to be awfully sore for a bit." I noticed I still had my hand in his and quickly removed it. I was so lost in his brown eyes that I didn't notice my friends come up behind me. They stopped and stared at the brown-eyed strange in front of me. "I'm Julian," he said slowly, "And you are?"
I blushed looking at my shoes. "My names Charm. It's nice to meet you. What I meant to say was it was a pleasure making your acquaintance sorry about the door."
"It's alright. I'm sorry but I have to go so I'll talk to you soon." Julian said and pushed past me to the door. I turned on my heels to see him pushing my friends aside gently. What the hell was that? Oh well atleast were all here for pizza.
"M, stop staring at his ass and lets go order." I pleaded. "Terry, not you too."
Terry is our best guy friend. It's not weird because he doesn't like girls. He swings for the other team, if you know what I mean. He's gay, and currently dating the other guy in our group, Blake. Terry is brunette with chocolate brown eyes. He lines his eyes with guyliner. He has an average build and Blake's the opposite. He's blonde with light blue eyes and he could pass as a player if you didn't know him.
I grabbed Marissa's shoulders and shook her quickly before giving her a light slap on the cheek. I turned around and kicked Terry in the butt and pushed Blake toward the counter to order while I pulled both Terry and Marissa to a booth.
"Would you guys snap out of it already." I yelled softly as Blake came back with a large cheese pizza. He opened the box and slid it onto the table sliding around various cans of pop. "Thanks Blake." I smiled at him. He slid in beside his boyfriend and grabbed Terry's chin and forced him to look at an amused Blake.
"Is my boyfriend thinking of cheating on me with Julian?" he asked quizically. Terry just shook his head. "Good." Finished Blake with a short kiss to Terry's temple. We all dug in to the food and spent a good half hour there before we got up and started discussing the test tomorrow. I asked them if we could study for a bit at my place. They agreed so I hopped in my truck with M and we took off with the boys on hot pursuit. I let Marissa drive because I had alot to think about.
"Hey M, have you seen that guy around before?" I questioned. She seemed thoughtful for a second but then answered.
"You mean Julian. Nope he's new to me." she smiled.
