Fright Night- Halloween Special

Earlier in the day Colton asked you to meet him at a local place where people could get and carve pumpkins as well as go into a corn maze and feed some animals they had for people to pet. Now it was later into the evening and the sun had set leaving the sky with a fading sunset. Soon it would be dark and the fun would begin. You stood around waiting for Colton to arrive. He was late as usual which made you laugh. He was always late these days. You knew that it was partly because the guys were now famous worldwide and he had to be careful so paparazzi wouldn’t follow him.

A pair of hands wrapped around your eyes and you giggle. “Why hello there person I cannot see.”

He removes his hands from your eyes as his lips brush against your cheek and trail down to the nape of your neck. He twirls you around so your staring into those warm brown eyes you’ve missed so much.

“I’m here babe. Let the fun begin!”

The two of you walk around the pumpkin patch and feed some of the goats, cows, and sheep that are there before waiting into line for the corn maze. It was a considerably long line. The two of you chat while you waited to buy the tickets.

“How’s the tour been going?” You ask.

Midnight Red was fortunate to get the opportunity to tour around the US for a few weeks. Their last stop was Colton’s hometown of Buffalo, which he was happy about. He got to see his family and old friends again. While they were touring you had moved into Colton’s place as things between the two of you were getting more serious. It had been a few weeks since the last time you saw him.

He smiles at you. “It’s been great. All the hard work that the guys and I have put in is really paying off.”

“I’m so happy for you baby.”

He pulls you into a hug. “I’ve missed you so much Immie.”

“I’ve missed you too. I still can’t believe that eight months ago you showed up at my house and asked to spend Valentine’s Day with me.”

Colton chuckles. “That was an amazing night.” His lips brush against you and you give him a quick kiss on the lips before resting your head against in chest. “This weekend is going to be so much fun.”

“Oh, it will be,” Colton affirms. “I have some plans set up for us.”

“I can’t believe I let you talk me into this,” you say as the two of you walk with intertwined fingers through the corn maze. It was practically pitch black out and you could barely see in front of you. The two of you were walking slowly as the fog from the smoke machine swirled around your feet. Deep in the maze people screamed when they were scared. You and Colton decided to keep count of the screams to make things more fun.

After counting twelve screams someone grabs your ankle and you let out a high pitched scream and jump. You spin around and see that someone dressed up as a zombie grabbed your ankle. Your heart is beating through your chest as you tightened your grip on Colton’s hand. The guy in costume got up from the ground, smiled at you and walked away and went to scare someone else. You look at Colton and he laughs.

What? I wasn’t expecting him,” You say which only makes him laugh harder.

“Come on,” he says pulling you in another direction once you reach a fork in the maze.

As the two of you are trying to find your way out of the corn maze, the wind picks up and your teeth start to chatter. Colton removes his jacket and hands it to you. You kiss him on the cheek before putting on the jacket. “Aren’t you cold?”

He shrugs his shoulders. “I’ll be fine.”

In a little over an hour the two of you manage to find your way out of the corn maze. The two of you did get scared a few times and bickered on which way you guys should turn throughout the time in the maze. You ended up leading the two of you to dead ends a few times.

When you get back home Colton makes hot chocolate and the two of you cuddle together under a blanket and sip at the hot chocolate. You turn on the tv and flip through the channels as Colton starts kissing your neck down to your chest. He takes the coco from your hand and sets it on the coffee table.

“You won’t be needing this right now.”

Colton picks you up bridal style and carries you upstairs to the bedroom shutting the door behind him.
