It was a normal day for Seo Cho, Chairwoman of Jeido, a awakened organization that normally dealt with Water Manipulation. She, of course, also knew this fore control, an in fact taught it. What she didn't teach was the self-taught control she already knew, super speed.
The only other person she ever helped learn this was her younger brother, who already had the same ability. They moved alot as children due to his inability to control it. (Because of this, he had quite the adorable affinity for cats. She always made sure he had enough money for his hobbies, even if he protested.)
But that wasn't the reason it was a normal day. In fact, it was a quite unnormal day. It wasn't the fact that she had to stay late again, nor the fact that she got home later than usual. No, it was the fact that her little brother wasn't there to eat dinner with her. He usual always waited, it was something she looked forward to every night, even if she was exhausted out of her heels.
The other strays that Jiwoo kept purred, rubbing their heads all over her legs.
"Hello, sweathearts. Did Jiwoo have a late night errand?" She asked, dropping to pet them. Of course, they didn't answer. Just cuddled up to her as she placed her heels by the door and stripped herself of her suit jacket. She pulled out her phone, clicking the call button by his number.
"Kitty kitty meow meow!" Sounded throughout the house. She sighed, of course he left it. She got up, checking the kitchen.
To her surprise, dinner hadn't even been prepared. He usual started preparing dinner once he got home, so he could make it easier when she got home. Nothing seemed to be even touched, there wasn't even a dish in the sink, and they had done them the day before together. Her eyes scanned the room once more, before something red caught her eye in the trashcan.
Blood. Well, more specifically, a bloody napkin. Panic fluttered through her entire body, was her little, caring, sweet brother hurt? Had they gotten robbed?
She quickly pushed those thought down. The cats would be inconsolable if something happened, but she couldn't help but worry as she started to cook the dinner they had planned for the day. Jiwoo knew to call her if he wasn't home.
The next half hour passed quickly, and dinner was made. She wrapped it up, turned on the news, her leg bounced. Her eyes glanced at the door every five seconds, she couldn't help but feel panicked. What if something happened to him? He was the only family she had, she couldn't bear if anything happened to him.
It wasn't three minutes later that the door opened, her little brother entering while talking to a cat, holding a second that seemed injuried.
"Jiwoo Seo!" She shouted, "Where were you? I was so worried! What if something happened? You left your phone, and I couldn't call you!" She gingerly placed the injured cat on the couch, before moving his face, checking his eyes, mouth, circling him.
"Chichi, I-"
"What's this scratch? Did you get attacked by a dog?" She gasped.
"No! Chichi, I'm fine. I'm sorry I worried you." He guiltily muttered. "But I found a injured cat, and then we found another injured cat. Will you help me?" God, she could never resist his puppy eyes.
And thats how she found herself sitting on the floor, eating dinner next to a injured cat and a talking one, that was supposedly Kayden Break himself, because Jiwoo had told her immediately, and then the cat yelled at him.
"Mr. Kayden..?" Jiwoo started, nervous.
"Something you want?"
"Um...the thing I did when I was fighting the cat..."
