JSHIJISOSJOS MY MOM WALKED IN WHILE I WAS WRITING THIS AHHH I DON'T WANT HER TO KNOW I'M A MASSIVE FUCKING SIMP

_____

Cho had not been busy at work, but not busy meant she was signing paperwork, and her hand cramped a hour ago. For the fifth time in three minutes, she glanced at the clock on her watch, waiting for the second it would turn seven thirty, so she could find a excuse to take off early.

When it finally reached that time, she hummed, informed her receptionist she was leaving, and speed-walked to the door before she ran into any elders. Down the block, she considered herself lucky, until she saw a text from Jiwoo, with a list of groceries she promised to pick up that night.

She dramatically groaned, pet a stray cat, and hurried to the grocery store she frequented. Hovering over the meat section, pondering if she should get the pack with three , or two. With Kaydens frequent switching to human and back, she wondered if he would be ok eating a steak, or if he would like it as a cat.

Shrugging and placing the big pack in the arm holder, she cursed her short height when she couldn't reach the salmon. Someone brushed up beside her, and a hand reached over her, handing her the fish.

"Thanks, Inhyuk?" Her eyes widened. He wasn't wearing the jacket to his usual suit, but it was him.

"Miss Seo? I thought it was you." He hummed, hand reaching up to scratch the back of his neck. She blanked. There was a brief moment of silence. "So, what are you shopping for?"

"Huh? Oh! Yes, we were running low on some food, and I figured the cats might like a treat for tomorrow. And Jiwoo needs...popsicle sticks? I'm not sure why." She nervously laughed. After she confronted her feelings about the man, she wasn't sure how to act in front of him, after all, the first and only crush she ever had on someone was when she was sixteen, and he had a girlfriend, so she had never pursued it. Figuring that you should just act normal, you smiled.

"What are you shopping for?" She asked. He smiled.

"Just some things here and there." He appeared nervous. She nodded.

"Well, it was good seeing you." With that awkward ending, she sort of left him with the fishes. And took cover in the spice aisle, needing salt anyways. Throwing some paprika into the mix, she figured tomorrow would be a interesting dinner.

She turned, bumping face to chest into the same man, who had been studying some random spice.

"Sorry!" She blurted, taking a quick step back, swiveling, and left the opposite side, leaving Inhyuk tilting his head.

The same thing kept happening, well, not the exact same, she didn't bump into him again, but he seemed to be hot on her heels, always at the end of some random aisle she was on, picking up some strange things. He was currently carrying birthday candles, mint, and some toothpaste. Finally, she entered a aisle, so off course that she wouldn't enter without having Jiwoo.

The candle aisle. She had been banned from it alone, after spending a hour smelling them all. But if she was right, Inhyuk would follow her right in. And he did.
