Andromeda woke up in disappointment for what she thought would be the last time. She thought she could break up with Luke. She was wrong, she loved him too much even if he was a schizophrenic. The thought of cheating crossed her mind but she couldn't place it. She couldn't believe it. It wasn't right. She heard a knocking on the door and rolled her eyes at the frustration that Luke probably 'forgot' his keys again. She opened the door to find Martin standing at the door. Her annoyance was quickly replace with concern as she saw an envelope in his hand with a sad look on his face.
'What's wrong Martin and where's Luke?' Andy asked him looking around for any sign of Luke.
'Can I come in?' Martin asked holding a manila envelope. Andromeda's face fell as she stepped to the side to let him pass through and he did.
--
'I didn't think this was true.' She said with a poorly concealed tearful face. She was tired of this shit. They'd been together a roughly three years and it was this third year that he started distancing himself from her for some reason she never knew. It couldn't be because of his illness because she had known of it and they'd dealt with it all of the time they've been together.
'Andy, I'm sorry.' He said with an equal serious tone. Martin who'd been their friend since forever, called last night and told her that he was supposed to meet up with Luke for a project for work and never showed. She'd told Martin, that Luke wasn't at home either. In fact, she'd called Luke five times and they all went to voicemail. All the texts have no response. Martin did his best to dry her tears and to keep from doing the one thing he wanted to do...badly. But he found himself looking at her legs that were showing from skirt she wore. God how he wished he could have them wrapped around his waist just once. He finally looked up at her and just...went for it. He wrapped his arms around her waist, only to pull her close to him and crash his lips onto hers. He felt her lips and they were everything he dreamed of and more. But he didn't expect her to be struggling out of his grip or to not even kiss him back.
'Martin, what are you doing?' She backed away as he tilted his head in confusion.
'An...I thought...' He was confused and sincerely crushed that she didn't feel the same. Now he felt a growing anger because he knew she would be his. He threw the pictures down and got his pocket knife out, 'Sit down.'
'Martin...' she begged scared of the knife.
'Just do it!' He yelled and she complied. He got down on his knees and pushed her torso back so she would lay down. Once he straddled her, he held her wrists together with one hand and got to her skirt only to start ripping it apart with the other.
'No, p-plea-ase!' she cried. Tears started pouring out of her eyes as she struggled out of his grip. But she couldn't and he took the knife and cut lines on her inner thighs. She screamed.
'I'm branding you as mine...' She'd heard him say before everything went black.

I jolted up awake and started screaming Alex's name. I screamed and screamed, 'Alex, I need you!' Several nurses came in but no sign of Alex. I thought he would be here with me. Why isn't he here with me? Anna was there too.
'He's not here, calm down Andromeda.' No, No, No...
'No! Where the fuck is Alex! I need him! I need him to numb the pain, Alex!' He was nowhere to be found. A bunch of nurses came in trying to hold me down and I suddenly felt like I was in one of those hospitals. Especially so when another nurse came in with a needle. I hate needles. 'No, no, no...'
