The Demon Swordsman Takeshi

Grand Adventure

Narrator: Takeshi set out on his journey to slay all the demons. Who would have believed that a boy now a man of 15 would become a demon himself.

Takeshi(thinking): I still can't believe dad died. Today is my birthday after all and he promised me some wine. Well I did avenge his death. These demons are scary now that I think about it. My rage got the better of me the other day. Dad always told me to control my rage because it can cause bad things to happen if I don't. I wonder how my family is doing. No time to think about that now. I have to keep moving and find these demons.

Narrator: Takeshi looked down at the demon sword that now belonged to him. The name of the sword was Hyaku. The sword had slain 100 humans in the past. It once belonged to a very powerful demon. The katana is made of a red steel only found in the lowest region of the Demon Realm where the strongest demons lie. 

Beggar: Kind stranger may I have some food I haven't eaten in quite some time.

Takeshi: Of course you may elder here you go. Some rice balls.

Beggar: When I said I wanted food I meant you!!

Narrator: The old beggar turned into a gigantic snake of 30 feet.

Takeshi: You're a demon!

Beggar (snake demon): And you're my next meal! Aaaah!

Takeshi (thinking): I barely dodged his attack. I feel kind of dizzy though.

Beggar (snake demon): You're starting to feel it now boy. My fangs are venomous. Now just stay still so it can be painless.

Takeshi: I will never be food to you demon scum! I will stop you now. Time to think of the thunder god Raijin again. What the heck I'm not transforming.

Narrator: Takeshi's is now half human and half Tanuki. He may be able to transform into anyone or anything, however, the more powerful the being the longer it takes for him to transform into that being again. He transformed into the thunder god Raijin two days ago. For him to transform again he has to wait five more days. Once a week he can transform into Raijin.

Takeshi(thinking): I guess I can't rely on transforming all the time. I will just let this snake demon eat me.

Beggar (snake demon): Thanks for the meal!

Takeshi: Ahh! It stinks in here! Sometimes you have to get into situations like this to win. Let's see what happens when I release more demon energy from the sword.

Narrator: The released demon energy was too much for the snake demon and the energy destroyed it. The more powerful the demon energy the more potent it is to things around it. For example, if Takeshi released that amount of demon energy in a village all the villagers would have died. 

Takeshi: Yuck! I need to take a bath and I don't feel so good. Oh right the poison. 

Narrator: Takeshi fainted because of the poison and when he opened his eyes he saw a beautiful girl with long black hair and a nice smile greet him.

Chika: Hello my name is Chika. I saw you take down that snake demon. I was going to help you earlier but it looked like you could handle it. That sword of yours is kind of weird though. I never seen a red sword like that. Where did you get it?

Takeshi: This a cursed sword. Because of this sword I'm now a demon. Well a half-demon to be exact.

Chika: I don't believe you. Transform into your demon form.

Takeshi: See I told you.

Chika: Aaww! You're so cute. Whose the cute tanuki demon? You are.

Takeshi: Hey stop messing with my ears. I see you have kunai with you. Are you a shinobi?

Chika: Yes I am a shinobi. My name is Chika the hidden one. I can erase my presence easily. I am thirteen years old. How about you?

Takeshi: My name is Takeshi and I am fifteen years old. I come from a small village south of here. I am not a warrior. I come from a peasant family. I got this sword to protect my family after my father was slain. I am still learning how to be a warrior.

Chika: So your father was killed by a demon. I'm sorry for your loss. I hate demons too. They killed my family when I was young, and I had to live with my grandfather who trained me to become a strong shinobi.

Takeshi: Sometimes I have nightmares about that day. 

Chika: Over time the nightmares will become less. So what are you doing now?

Takeshi: My mission is to slain all evil demons.

Chika: Can I tag along? I'm strong I promise.

Takeshi: I could use the extra help. Thanks. 

Chika: Don't mention it Takeshi. Let me show you something cool.

Takeshi: What is it?

Chika: I found this rare scroll that allows me to summon a demon and control it. It is one of 12 demon scrolls. This one is the kappa scroll. Come forth kappa!

Takeshi: Woah it really is a kappa.

Chika: Kappa attack Takeshi!

Takeshi: Hey what's the big idea!

Chika: Just testing your strength. Are you going to let a little kappa beat you.

Takeshi: You're on! 

Chika: That took longer than I expected. Yeah you need more training.
