It is nighttime at Hogsmeade station, the train blows its whistle and pulls into the station. A half giant half human walks along the side aisle, with a lantern. People, in their robes, being pouring out of the train.
"Right, then! Firs' years! This way, please! Come on, now, don't be shy! Come on now, hurry up!" The giant said.
All three of us are now in our robes, walking up to to the giant.
"Hello, Harry." The giant said looking down at Harry
"Hey, Hagrid." Harry smiled
"Whoaa!" Me and Ron said in unison
"Right then. This way to the boats! Come on, now, follow me."
I whisper to Harry as we walk to the boats
"Boats? I suck at paddling" Harry snickers as we get on the boats
"Where are the paddles?" I asked confused
"Paddles? What paddles?" He asked me if I was being serious or not
"Obviously how else are we supposed to-" The boats start moving and I jump
"Whoa! My dad could have told me about this?" I said shocked as Harry laughed
"We won't need paddles, we have magic" she said cocky
"Magic? I can get used to this." I smiled as Harry shook his head laughing and Hermione rolls her eyes from being annoyed and Ron still confused on what paddles are.
Later, the boats are plugging across the vast lake, where up ahead a huge castle, everyone was in awe.
"Wicked." Ron said
"Blimey!" I said in awe as everyone else. We continue on further towards the castle.
Later on, we walk in the castle, and up the staircase. As a tall stern-looking witch, waiting for us, tapping her fingers on a stone railing and goes up to top of the stairs, I can tell who it was, Professor McGonagall.
"Welcome to Hogwarts. Now, in a few moments, you will pass through these doors and join your classmates. But before you can take your seats, you must be sorted into your houses. They are Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin. Now while you're here, you house will be like your family. Your triumphs will earn you house points. Any rule breaking, and you will lose points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded the house cup." McGonagall said.
A scared boy spots a toad sitting near McGonagall. He jumps forward.
"Trevor!" He yells catching his toad; McGonagall stares down at him as some of the students laugh.
"Sorry." He backs away.
"The sorting ceremony will begin momentarily." She leaves to go into the great hall, a young boy with blonde hair speaks up.
"Its's true then, what they're saying on the train. Harry Potter and Leon Elliott has come to Hogwarts." The blonde hair boy said.
Students start whispering Harry Potter? Leon Elliott?
"This is Crabbe and Goyle. And I'm Malfoy...Draco Malfoy."
