Is it hope or is it love?
Is it faith or just not enough?
Snow on the sidewalk and pure white rain
There's a cracked snowflake and true love's bane
Magic pepper in a roll
Smoke it deep into my soul
Magic potion in a cup
Seems I'll never get enough
Hey Sandman, come and rescue me
I'll forget it all when I'm asleep
Sleeping Beauty prick my hand
Snow White's apples in a can
Your touch has got me oh so high
Hold me tight and please don't go tonight
Is it hope or is it love?
My heart can never get enough
Dark shadows hiding in my room
While I weave in alcoholic swoon
Slip me a sleeping pill in my drink
While I rinse all the blood down in the sink
The music drowns me in its beat
Please, just let me go to sleep!
I'll cut loose the veins in my wrist
Set free the spirit makes me exist
Hiding from reality
Fantasy will make me bleed
Cuz I just don't know how to love
Will these lies ever be enough?
