Ch 13 Haldi ceremony

We all know the fact that maybe our mind forces us to do the task but the heart never agrees ,the same dilemma is with Ridhima she is marrying Karan but only for her Family ,she hates him to the core after seeing his selfish and egoistic personality
She understood that this marriage will never be successful

But Her thoughts were interrupted when she the cheerful voice of Riya asking her to come along with her as The Haldi Ceremony is beginning and all the preparations are completed

Karan's Outfit :-

(FYI:-The Haldi ceremony is a ritual holy bath also known as pithi ceremony, which is one of the pre-wedding ceremonies in India. Turmeric (haldi), oil and water are applied to both the bride and groom by married women on the morning of the wedding. The mixture is believed to bless the couple before the marriage

She gave Riya a forced smile and carried her heavy lehenga(Long Skirt ) with her hands

Riya helped her with it And Sushmita also accompanied her along with Riya
Sushmita knew a battle was being fought between The Heart and Mind of Ridhima.She knew that Ridhima was A girl who was saved by Karan and now Karan wants to make her as his

Soon they reached the Venue and Ridhima casted her eyes upward ans what she saw made her shocked the garden was well decorated with Lights,Curtains and So many decorative Items

It looked like thousands of rupees must have been spent on this wonderful decoration

She was asked by Sushmita to sit beside Karan who was looking dead gorgeous in his yellow kurta pyjama and was staring at her with such intensity that it made her cower in fear

She sat beside him but at a safe distance and tried not to glance at him she knew he was a devil in a disguise and only had good looks but not the good pure heart which she wants in a person

Soon The ceremony started and Sushmita came to first apply Haldi Paste on Ridhima and Karan
Karan was a bit reluctant to apply it but as Sushmita was his Ma he agreed to it

Then All the other guests arrived whom Ridhima had never seen and applied Haldi on both of them
The Paste was very cold and gave a very soothing effect to her swelled and puffy skin

At last Riya came in a very bubbly manner an applied paste all over Karan amd threw Haldi water on him
He got a little furious on her but he always considered her as his younger sister so he let the funny task of her go

Then Came A young man around his 20s he looked very charming and had a cute smile on his face .He spoke
"Hello Bhaiya How are you ,Its been so long you came here "
He hugged Karan

And then glanced at Ridhima and gave her a cute charming smile
"Hi Bhabhi I am Niloy Your Brother in Law ,We will Together do Pranks on Bhai "

Hearing this everyone laughed along with them Ridhima chuckled
Karan glanced at her small laugh was so mesmerising and so refreshing
He wanted her to always smile and remain happy

Then the function proceeded different ladies came up to apply Haldi on Ridhima and Karan

After sometime the function was over
Ridhima wanted to go to her room so she asked Sushmita
"Uh Aunty Can ..I go to my room now ?"

"Yes Baccha go to your room and get fresh "Sushmita replied

Ridhima went to her room while she was removing the flower jewellery she felt someone behind her it was none other than Karan

She was scared and frightened that what he wanted from her now as she has followed all his demands

She asked " W..What do you want ?"

He smirked at her terrified figure and went closer to her ,he felt her body shaking he held her hands tightly in his grip and spoke in a deep voice

"Everyone has applied Haldi on the bride but the groom should also be given a chance Am I right my Love ?"

He asked her and then he held her face and applied Haldi on it with his hands she was  very scared at this point

After he applied haldi he spoke
"The Day after tomorrow you will be mine Isn't it amazing ?,now remove all these and change your dress"

He spoke and left Ridhima in a piddle of unspoken emotions and thoughts

She broke down at this point she fell on the floor and held her knees and hid her face between them and cried till her heart was at rest till she understood that this was her fate
No matter how much she tries to ignore this she will be the Wife Of A Beast in only 24 hours

And this was not a happy news for Ridhima
