"So then, Coach sees Scott and starts shouting!" Stiles laughed. "He was like, 'McCall! Come here, buddy. I see you!' As he started chasing after Scott across the whole gym!"

I laughed for about the millionth time during this story. For some reason, Stiles just said he wanted to tell me a story, and here it is.

"Next thing you know, Scott's dragging Danny onto the dance floor and starts slow-dancing with him."

"Poor Danny." I giggled.

"Yeah," He nodded, the wide grin never leaving his face. "When coach finally reaches them, everyone stops dancing and thinks that he won't let them dance together because . . . well, you know."

I nodded understandingly, bursting into fits of laughter. Stiles did the same. "So, this was . . ."

"Sophomore year." He nodded.

"Winter Formal, this was at?"

"Yeah,"

"Who did you go with?" It had to be asked. "I bet you had a whole line of girls wanting to go out with you."

"Me?" He gestured to himself, bursting into fits of laughter. "Girls wanting me? Man, you're killing me. Besides, there was only one girl I wanted to go out with then, anyways."

"Who would that've been?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Lydia." He laughed a bit.

"Really?"

"Believe it or not."

"How come you never made a move on her?" I asked, my curiosity getting the better of me.

"Well, two reasons." He held up his first two fingers. "One: Jackson Whittemore. The school's douche-bag at the time."

"What happened to him?"

"He turned into a homicidal lizard, called a Kanima, and got bit by a werewolf. He turned, and ran off to London."

"Werewolves in London." I shook my head jokingly. "Wow."

"I know, tell me about it."

"What's the second reason?"

"Lydia was the most popular girl in school." He explained. "And me? Well, Scott and I both were -- let's just say -- at the bottom of the popularity chain."

"That doesn't surprise me." I joked, earning a playful glare from him. I laughed at his reaction. "Lydia's single now . . . and she talks to you. Why don't you try to get her now?"

"Felicity," He laughed. "It's not that simple. Especially because there's another girl who's had my attention for a while."

I don't know if I should feel jealousy or happiness. Scott and Allison both said that Stiles likes me, so could he be talking about me? Or am I just the best friend that he confides in for all of his secrets?

I decided not to question him, nodding along silently instead.

"Do you mind me asking whatever happened between you and Connor?" Stiles mentioned. "Or why you left Beacon Hills in the first place?"

"Considering what happened to Connor today," I swallowed a lump in my throat. "I think I'd rather not talk about that right now."

"That's totally fine." He answered quickly. "You don't have to tell me, it was just a way of trying to get to know you better."

I smiled. "I could tell you about leaving Beacon." I nodded. "It's a long story, though."

"I've got time." He gave me a reassuring smile.
