"What do we do?" I asked, strengthening my grip on Felicity. "Scott has the keys to my baby."

"Well, this is just great." Lydia mumbled.

"What's the matter guys, car trouble?" A voice asked, making my skin crawl.

I turned around and glared. "What the hell do you want, Connor?"

"Oh," He held his hands in mock surrender. "You don't seem so happy to see me. If Fel was awake-"

"You have no right to call her that." I spat. "Not after what you've done."

"I don't think it's your call on what my nick-name for Felicity is." Connor countered, taking a few steps closer to us.

"What do you want from us?"

"It's not what I want from you," He admitted. "It's what I want from Felicity."

Out of absent-mindedness, my grip on Felicity tightened. "What do want from her?"

"I need her to join me." He grinned. "We would be on unstoppable pair, she and I."

"She would never join you."

"What if her life depended on it?"

"What?" I squinted my eyes at him.

"Instead of telling you," His grinned widened. "Why don't I just show you?" Connor held his hands out at his sides, palms to the sky. With his eyes glowing a bright orange, streams of fire shot from his hands, flying high into the sky.

I quickly spun around, facing Lydia and Kira, I think her name was. "Go to the Jeep, find a way to get in. Pick the lock, break open the windows, I don't care. Just get in."

"What about you?" Kira questioned.

"I'm going to take care of Connor."

"What about Felicity?" Lydia countered.

I looked down at the sleeping girl in my arms. Sighing, I loosened my grip on her. "Take her to-"

My speaking was cut short, when a bolt of fire shot past my head, making me duck. Lydia let out an involuntary scream, and I spun around. Connor looked beyond mad.

"You think you're so smart." He chuckled sarcastically. "You think that you can arrange a plan while I'm trying to show you my powers? You won't even survive this, what makes you think your plan will actually work?"

"Connor!" Scott yelled, making Connor turn around to face an angry alpha. "Leave them alone, they have no say in this!"

"What?" He phrased the question as more of a statement. "You do?"

"It wouldn't be a fair fight." He argued.

"Who says that I like 'fair'?"

Scott dug around into the pocket of his jeans, before pulling something out that made a jingling sound. He held up a pair of keys, before tossing them over to us. Fortunately, Lydia caught them, so I didn't have to worry about me or Felicity getting hit in the face.

"Get out of here!" Scott ordered to us, before glaring at Connor. "I've got this."

"Are you sure?" Lydia had to scream over the sudden uptake in the wind.

"I'm positive, just go!"

"Scott, I'm not leaving you!" I yelled.

"How beautiful." Connor wiped away fake tears.

"Stiles, go." He ordered, ignoring Connor's teasing.

With great hesitation, I ran away from them.

I trusted Lydia enough to let her drive us to Deaton's, so that I could keep an eye on Felicity. Kira occupied the passenger seat, while I sat behind Lydia's seat. Felicity was seated sideways on my lap, her head balanced on my shoulder. I kept one arm wrapped around her waist, in case if we had to make a sudden stop for some reason. The other hand remained on the outside of her left thigh, where a huge incision from Kali was placed. Felicity must have thick blood, because fortunately, her bleeding stopped when we were still at the loft.

Felicity began to stir in her sleep, mumbling incoherent things.

Did you hear that?

That was my heart stopping, because that was so damn adorable.

When did I turn into such a girl?

Ignoring those very odd thoughts, I tried to focus in on what Felicity was saying.

"Stiles ..." I heard her mumble, a small, close-mouthed smile forming on her face. That, of course, made me smile as well.

"Felicity?" I whispered softly.

Her eyes fluttered open weakly, and they met mine. "Stiles."

"Hey," I whispered softly. "How're you feeling?"

"Like shit." She laughed weakly.

I smiled at her. And with a sudden burst of bravery, a planted a soft kiss to her forehead. My smile grew when the tips of her cheeks went red.

"Thank you." She smiled weakly, snuggling more into my shoulder.

"I thought you would still be mad at me."

"Oh, I am." She mumbled, making my heart drop. "But I'm still glad it was you who found me." Then, my heart lifted again, and this weird feeling spread into my stomach. Just the way she said it; the sincerity, the pinch of happiness.

I really am in deep.
