Felicity P.O.V
I looked at my reflection in Lydia's mirror one last time. While Allison and Kira left, Lydia wanted to help me get ready for my date with Stuart.
Lydia had claimed that I wasn't too overdressed, but the skirt and shirt I was clad in said otherwise. The magenta skirt went two inches above my knee, making me feel self-conscious. I don't believe I have ever worn a skirt that short. I had a white tank with a tan cardigan over it. These were all Lydia's clothes. I would never be seen dead wearing this on my own free will. Yeah, I wear skirts. Just not ones that are shorter than Yoda.
Fortunately, with a lot of arguing, I was able to wear my white converse with the outfit. Lydia suggested I should wear heels. I love her to death, but our fashion choices may be a little different.
"Okay," Lydia gave a look of defeat. "I'll admit those shoes do look good with that outfit."
"Ha!" I pointed a finger at her, a victorious smile on my face.
She rolled her eyes playfully, before lightly shoving me out of her room. We both walked down the stairs, me leading the way.
"You did tell Stuart to pick you up here, right?" Lydia asked as I reached the bottom step.
"Done."
"Alright." She smiled. "Can I ask you something first?"
"You just did." I smirked, walking the short distance and sitting down on her couch. She rolled her eyes again and followed in suit of my actions. "Okay, what is it?"
"Do you like Stiles?"
The grin that was on my face vanished instantly. I looked down, my hands becoming incredibly interesting.
Do I like him?
I know I've been bipolar about the whole situation, but I still don't know. I have feelings for him. I just keep changing my mind on how strong those feelings are. I mean, he apologized about the whole Hale situation, so I truly do not have a reason to be mad at him. I can't use that as an excuse anymore.
"I'm not sure."
"Liar." She gave me a knowing look. "I can tell by just the way you look at him."
"And how is that?"
"Love is an indescribable feeling that us humans will never truly be able to understand. But we learn new things about it through experience. Like, how you look at them. You look at them like they're your sun. Their smile lights up your whole world, and it makes you feel at home. It makes you feel some sanity in this crazy world we live in. Now, you may never notice it, but that's how Stiles looks at you. And that's how you look at him. I can see it in both of your eyes."
"Wow." I furrowed my brows, contemplating what she said. "I look at him like that?"
"Yeah." She scoffed. "It was super noticeable in the car the other day, when he laughed. You looked over at him and I could see all of these emotions fill your eyes. Admiration, love, lust . . . pain."
"I know." I ran a hand over my face.
"Careful!" Lydia scolded. "It took me forever to get the right shade on you and I'm not finding it again."
"Lyds, I-"
The sound of knuckles rapping against the door interrupted my sentence abruptly.
"That's him." Lydia smiled nervously. "We can talk more later."
"Tomorrow?"
"Yeah, tomorrow."
We both stood up from our spots, made our way to the door.
When I opened the door, I wasn't expecting Stuart to look so nervous. He smiled at me, and I copied his actions.
"Hi." He breathed, looking at my outfit. "You look great."
"Thanks." I couldn't help but blush at the compliment. "So do you."
"So, are you ready?"
"Yep, let's go." I answered Stuart, before looking back at Lydia. "Thanks for everything. I owe you."
"You owe me nothing." She slapped my arm lightly. "Have fun."
Unsure of what to reply with, I nodded. I followed Stuart out the door and towards his car. He stopped me from opening the door, making me furrow my brows. He opened the door for me with a grin. I rolled my eyes playfully and thanked him quietly. After making sure that he wouldn't crush my legs or arms, he closed the door. As I buckled myself in, I watched him jog to the other side of the car, opening the door swiftly and jumping in.
"I'm surprised you're not wearing your famous beanie."
"Stiles spilled spaghetti sauce on it." He admitted defeatedly, pulling out of the driveway.
I couldn't contain my laughter, as I practically had tears forming in my eyes.
"Be quiet." Stuart mumbled, not being able to keep the grin off of his face.
"So," I breathed, after getting my heart-beat back to it's normal pace. "Are you going to tell me where we're going? Or, are you going to make me wait?"
"I could tell you now." He suggested.
"Well?" I drawled out, gesturing for him to continue.
"I figured that we could go and see a movie first." He explained quietly, looking like a puppy that had just gotten scolded. But that demeanor quickly faded when a teasing grin formed onto his lips. "And, I think I'm going to keep the second thing a secret."
"Stuart!" I groaned.
"Hey now," He was quick to defend himself. "You're lucky I told you that much."

"Where did you find this place?" I stared in awe at the beautiful sight in front of me.
"Just found it while driving one day." Stuart shrugged. "Come on."
We both got out of the car, meeting in the front. The cliff lied about two feet away from us. A beautiful lake flowed below it. The sun was breathtaking shades of reds and oranges and yellows.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?"
"Definitely."
"Let's sit down." He bobbed his head towards the car.
Mimicking his actions, I sat down on the grill of the car, resting my back against the front window. Together in silence, we watched the sun and it's deathly rays.
