12. I had fun today

"What do you mean?" Nat asks concerned. They all look at her for an answer. Pietro can't help but worry about her and he places his left hand on her shoulder to tell her that is okay. She takes his hand on her own leaving everyone shocked, but she needed it, a friend.

"They knew I would lost it, so they lied, and I did lost it. I was the perfect weapon" she sighed "I'm sorry I need to go" Anastasia says going to her bedroom. Nat follows her and after being with her for what felt like hours while she cried on her shoulder, she left the sleepy girl alone and went to sleep, or at least she tried. She couldn't stop thinking about James and Anastasia.

The next morning Anastasia wake up and putted on a dark green hoodie and black sports shorts. She went to the kitchen to have breakfast and saw Pietro there.

"Good morning" he said not taking his eyes out of her. After what happened last night everyone was cornered about the dynamic duo as some called them. Pietro was worried for his friend Tommy, but he was more worried about Anastasia, he didn't know why, or tried to avoid it, but he did.

"Good morning" she said so soft that it was almost impossible to hear. She prepared herself a cup of coffee and sat in front of him, her usual seat. She didn't feel like talking so she just sat there drinking coffee and looking at nothing.

He didn't know what to do or say, he wished his sister was there but she was having breakfast with Vision outside in the grass, much like a breakfast picnic. Nobody else were there, some were at the mission and some were working on their own stuff.

Tommy finally decided to go on the mission, claiming that he would be totally professional and that he was going to be focused the whole time.

"How did you sleep tonight?" Ana asked Pietro. She didn't feel like talking but it was starting to be uncomfortable. "Good. You?" he replied. She shrugged her shoulders and said nothing. Last night she fall sleep while crying, it wasn't nice.

"Steve told me not to train today" Pietro told her. She looked confused at him "Why?" "Something about resting" he said not getting too much into it.

Steve told Pietro, Wanda and Vision not to train today and stay with Anastasia. Nat called Clint as Anastasia's request as she didn't want to talk more about it, he now knew everything and was planning on inviting her to stay over the weekend and invite the Avengers to go and spend the day to announce something.

"Do you wanna watch a movie?" She asked him. He looked confused at first, they had watched movies together but never just the two of them. He couldn't help but feel nervous "Sure" he said smiling.

They went to the movie room. There were lots of couches and a big screen. They started to watch 'Love, Rosie' requested by Pietro saying that Wanda told him to watch it. They sat next to each other and made popcorn. Halfway through the movie Anastasia rested her head on Pietro's shoulder and he couldn't help but smile.

She was comfortable with him, which was weird, she wasn't used to it. Tommy warned her that Pietro had a crush on her but she thought that it was just stupid, they were friends, not more than that. The thought of him having a crush on her made her feel good, must the Gemini in me loving the attention, she thought.

Pietro was focusing too much on the movie to notice that Wanda was on the doorway, she smiled at the two and walked inside with Vision. Ana did notice them and smiled to them but she never changed her position. When the movie finished Pietro got scared when he saw his sister and the Android behind him. After the movie they started to talk about it.

"They are so stupid" Pietro commented "If you love her tell her man!" He yelled causing the other three a laugh.

"Sometimes humans are so scared of failure that they do not confess their feeling towards the person they fall in love with" Vision says with his poetic voice "which may sound a absurd but it makes them feel empty" he continued.

"Why?" Anastasia asked confused. She never felt what he was talking about, she wasn't the most romantic person in the world. She refused love and relationships. She was trained to be a killer not a lover.

"Because what they most desire is far from them" Vision left them shocked. Romantic little piece of vibranium.

"You should stop reading Shakespeare mate" Anastasia said while getting up. "I didn't got it from Shakespeare I-" he was interrupted by Wanda's phone.

"Sorry" she said with a soft smile and left the room. "Well, I'm gonna go as well. Talking about Shakespeare made me wanna culture myself" Ana said leaving the room with a small smile.

She headed to the library and read until FRIDAY, Tony's AI, told her that launch was ready. She was walking down the hall when she paused due to something in front of her.

"Hi принцесса (princess)" Pietro said to her with a smirk on his face. She looked up to him, since he was taller than her and replied with a small smile "Hi roadrunner". She walked past him making sure to hit him on his left shoulder "I had fun today" he said walking backwards to face her. "Me too" she said.

He looked at her mischievously and she stop walking knowing that wasn't good "Want a lift?" He proposed. She shook her head fast and started to run from him, but obviously he was faster. He grabbed her bridal style and smiled "Now you will learn not to call me Roadrunner" he said before running to the kitchen.

"YOU BASTARD!" Ana yelled when she got back at her feet. Wanda looked confused "Is everything ok?" She asked concerned.

"She called me roadrunner. It's her fault" He replied smirking. Wanda and Vision looked at each other and started to laugh while the other two started a fight.
