6. How much?

It's been over a month since she told Fury she needed to rest. Tommy has been training with the Avengers, he now lives in the HQ with the rest of them. Today Anastasia woke up, put on a black shirt and black pants, she had breakfast and then went outside to draw. She was listening to music while drawing her last nightmare, it was something that calmed her down a little bit, knowing it was just a nightmare and she's safe. She was finishing her drawing when her music stop due to a phone call.

"Agent Barton" she said. "I need you at the HQ ASAP, you will meet me at the conference room. We have something important to discuss" "Yes, sir" she sighed. She knew what this was about. But she also knew that Fury knew her answer, so why bother? "A quinjet is on its way now, get ready".

She came back to the house, told her parents what happened, pack a back with some clothes just in case she was either hot or cold. She was always prepared. She changed so now she was wearing black jeans, her black boots and the same shirt as before, her hair was down like always. She said goodbye and walked towards the quinjet, where Nat was waiting for her.

"Do you know something?" Ana asked while sitting in the copilot seat. "No, you know he doesn't share much" Nat replied with a smirk. Ana rolled her eyes not wanting to go knowing what will happen.

One she arrived, Nat went with her to the conference room where all the Avengers and Fury where. They looked pretty confused, also not knowing why they were called. She tried to walk away but Nat grabbed her so she wouldn't go.

"Nice to see you too" Fury said with both of his hands on the table. "Yeah yeah, what do you want?" Ana said while rolling her eyes.

"Yeah, what do you want Fury? I have work to do" Tony said. Fury sighed, tired of both of them. "Please sit" he said pointing to the only seat left at the end of the table. Honesty she felt like a boss in that seat, but she shake off the thought and tried to focus.

"Agent Barton has been working for me for a long time" some of them were a little shocked while some of them already expected it or like Nat and Tommy, knew. "And she has never disappointed me, she never fails, and she is one of the best agents" she smiled at this, but not for a long time knowing what this was about. "I know your answer" this caught her attention "So I won't ask" he said taking his hands out of the table, standing in front of her from the other side of the table "But I do think you can help the Avengers in another way".

"I'm not working for them" she quickly spoke, catching everyone's attention, why wouldn't she want to work for us? We are the Avengers, some of them thought.

"You are going to be working with them" this caused her a soft laugh. "I won't do that either" she said with her head held high. The Avengers were confused. "You will help them train" Fury stated. "No way" she said causing him to sigh. "I will pay you very well" well, now he got my attention. "How much?" He then pointed to his head, meaning that he will tell her there. She gets inside and gasps when he tells her. She thinks about it, she doesn't want to work for or with them, but damn, it was a lot of money, and dad wanted the family to get closer to them.

"Let's say I say yes" she says leaning forward putting her elbows on the table "What would I have to do?".

Fury smiles, he wants her to join the team, he always wanted it, but he knew what she thinks about it and that her answer was always gonna be 'No'. So the least she could do is be near them till she saw that she could trust them and finally join them.

"You will help them train the twins, I'm pretty sure you will be useful, they need to control their powers and your abilities are similar to Wanda's, you will focus on her and help Pietro as much as you can. You have control over yourself and they need that" the twins look at each other, not knowing if it was going to be a good idea, due to their first meeting. "You will also help Rogers and Romanoff to train the rest of them" Nat sends her a smirk.

"What about my missions?" She asks. She's been out of missions for a little bit and she misses them.

"I will still give you missions, don't worry about that" he looks at her waiting for an answer. She's thinking about it, that should be good, he thought.

"What days will I have to be here?" She asks, causing him to chuckle. "Everyday but Sunday" her eyes wide open. Sure, she trains a lot, but it meant she had to be here everyday but Sundays. "You'll live here, I have a room prepared for you next to Thomas's" she looks at Natasha, not knowing what to do.

"I think you should do it" everybody looks at the read head "Your dad would love it, and I'll be here, you got me. And Thomas is also here, you won't be alone".

"Ok, last question. Why did you call all the Avengers?" She says actually confused about it.

"Well, they also have to decide. You are going to live with some of them, you will train them with Cap and Nat. I'm not just asking you if you are ok with this, I'm asking everyone in this room" he looks at the Avengers waiting for an answer.

"For me it is ok" Pietro says while sending Ana a wink, she just rolls her eyes, ugh men, she thinks.

"You. Speedy. Stop flirting" Tony says snapping his fingers at Pietro's face. "You didn't even tell us what she can do, how are we going to think if she's ok or not".

"That's why you are all here. Please Anastasia" he says making his hand to tell her to start explaining.

"I have telepathy, so I can get in your heads and I can also control them," now they all looked scared, the last time they met a teenage girl who could control minds didn't went well "I have telekinesis, I can control electricity and I can create force fields".

"Yeah, we could um... we could use some of her help" Tony said thinking about how she was as powerful as Wanda and they needed her besides them.

"Yeah, you know how to fight I guess" Steve said, she nodded and Nat smirked knowing damn well how good is she. "I say yes" the room was filled with 'yeah' 'sure', but she never said anything.

"So?" Fury said to her. She sighed before replying "Deal".
