17. Just my past, hunting me

"Are you ok?" Pietro asked her, she nodded slowly looking at the ground. "What happened earlier?" She looked at him confused and then realised what he was talking about.

"Nothing" she tried to walk away but he stopped her, putting himself in front of her.

"You slept with somebody" he stated more than asked, she furrow her eyebrows and laughed slyly.

"It's none of your business" she said trying to walk away again, failing.

"It is if you are playing with me" she could see the sadness in his eyes, he likes me, she thought. She looked away thinking of what to say. She was trained to stay away from that type of feelings, she was also told nobody would ever loved her because she was a monster and people would fear her not love her.

"Stay away from me Maximoff" she said finally going back to the front yard, Addi was looking down and Tommy looked rather pissed. Pietro came back not much after, Wanda looked at both of them sadly, probably because she could read her brother's thoughts.

"I need you to come with me" Cooper said to his older sister, they walked inside and went to the bathroom. "You are a doctor and I think I got sick" he pouted and showed her his stomach. She looked at it confused "It hurts" he whined.

"Since when?" She was used to this type of things, Cooper would tell her that he was sick when the truth is that he just wanted attention.

"An hour ago" he told her. She checked his stomach trying to look like she was actually doing something.

"I don't think you are sick but stay near me in case it gets worst, ok?" He nodded excitedly and they went back to the table, he sat on her lap and she whispered bad jokes to him so he would laugh.

Anastasia started to think about what happened with the speedster. Is it really a bad thing that he likes me? What about what Tommy told me? Maybe I should go with it. Do I even like him? Were some of her thoughts.

The next day she woke up next to Cooper and Lila, they begged her so she would let them sleep with her since they missed their older sister. She got up slowly trying not to wake them up, she then went down stairs where her parents were, she smiled softly at them and went to grab a cup of coffee.

"Ana. We need to have a talk" her mom said, she sighed and turn around. "We know you can't get pregnant but... We need to have the talk" Anastasia immediately shook her head and didn't let them talk.

"It wasn't for me. I didn't slept with anyone without protection, please don't make me go through that" she said quickly, her parents looked at each other highly confused and then she elaborated "I bought it for someone else, you don't have to worry, she's not pregnant" they nodded figuring out who it was, it wasn't necessary for her to say who it was.

"We'll keep the secret" her dad assured her making her feel relieved. "You should prepare, Nat called about an hour ago saying that you were needed at the compound" she did as he told her and prepared to go.

Back in the compound, when she entered the kitchen where the team and her met the most she heard a lot of arguing.

"It's settled, there's nothing you can do" Steve shouted to Pietro.

"Hi" Ana said awkwardly "What's going on?" She looked around her, almost everyone was there, most of them with angry faces.

"Please, talk some sense out of him" Steve said pointing to Pietro who scoffed.

"Why?" It wasn't like they were in the best terms at that moment.

"He doesn't want to go on a mission because Wanda it's not coming with him" Steve explained, she looked confused at the two and then she looked at Nat.
