"Simple...."

Scaramouche held his breathe and got adjusted in his seat which would allow for a quick escape if things went downhill.

"I just wanted to get to know you better!"

Scaramouche froze, dumbfounded. He honestly didn't believe what he just heard.

"You, want to get to know ME?!" He honestly was drastically confused. Columbine never showed any interest towards her colleagues, so why pick him to start?

"Exactly," she started, "I know I've been seen as out of touch with the other harbingers and you seemed like the most likely to communicate and listen."

"But-"

"I didn't pick Childe because he's so self-centered and two-faced I could faint," Scaramouche chuckled at the insult of the Ginger.

"Your Lord and Ladyship, the ship has arrived..." A agent interrupted causing Scaramouche to throw a distasteful glare and scowl in their direction.

"Ah, thank you!" Scaramouche could tell she was using a fake voice and decided that this is where the expectations of her were started from. He figured she'd noticed the same with the utter disgust he seemed to show towards the agents and any of those below him.

~Columbine POV~

I grabbed ahold of an agents hand to help climb myself up on the boat. My bags were already put away and Number Six was already aboard. As I walked along the deck the boat had a sudden jerk indicating we were off on our journey. I stood by the edge of the boat and looked off at Liyue as we passed by it. Eventually it became nothing but a blur and I signed knowing this trip would be a long one.

As I was headed to my quarters of the ship I saw various agents rushing by with papers, books, and materials I couldn't quite make out. They all stopped and bowed when the saw me and didn't continue until they were out of my line of vision.

These Agents give me a headache. I thought simply because I forced myself to give each of them the kindest smile and greeting I could muster up.

Once I reached my quarters I flung open the door and threw myself onto my bed. These voyages always made me exhausted so I decided to get some rest. Though obviously Celestia must hate me as I heard a quiet chuckle once I got settled.

I looked up to none other than the man himself.

"Why are you in here? Hasn't your mother taught you manners?"

He smirked and avoided my second question, "You said you wished to know me more, so what better way than to do it during our voyage?"

I huffed not amused with the idea but understanding I had this coming.

"Alright then," I rolled over to be facing him on my stomach, "Firstly though, let me change into something more comfortable."

I didn't even wait for him to respond as I began to hop up and find a light silky white dress. I changed into it and turned around to seem him facing the opposite direction. I suppose he had some sort of morals.

"Well let's begin shall we?"
