"DON'T JUST STAND THERE!" screamed the healed Umbridge to the teachers struggling to get back to their feet, looking quite demented, voice hoarse from all her screaming. "SEIZE HIM!"
But as abruptly as his gaze had gone from small to strong, Y/N L/N had vanished where he stood.

Tugged along by the Portkey, Y/N felt himself land hard onto the stone floor of Diagon Alley, he could taste the bitter muck off the ground that had made it into his mouth as he fell.
Scrambling to his feet, his back screaming from the deep gashes sliced upon it, Y/N made sure to check he'd linked the Portkey correctly. In front of him was a small and shabby looking shop, a large wooden sign with the words 'Wilbert's Magical Creations and Goods.' placed at a wonky angle above the door.
The door opened swiftly and Y/N's pen-pal came rushing out, his bright eyes laced with concern. Wilbert hoisted Y/N's arm over his shoulder and dragged him into the shop.
The interior was precisely the same as it had been two years ago. A warm, cozy colour palate of orange and grey, however true to the words of Wilbert's first letter, the shelves no longer held wand-related items. Now there were a wide range of unfinished prototypes, be it enhancements to pre-existing wizarding gadgets or new inventions completely.
"You really need to work on the outside appearance of your shop if we want Pure-bloods to take this operation seriously, Will," said Y/N, grimacing through an attempt at a grin.
Will was solemn. "Looks like you actually went and did it," said Will quietly, helping Y/N into a nearby chair and pulling out a flask of Dittany. "You crazy kid. Must have been one hell of a show."
"It was," said Y/N, grunting as Will applied a few drops of dittany onto his gashes. The bloody, exposed flesh instantly fizzled away as new skin creeped across them, leaving only long, streaking white scars.
Y/N got up from his chair and gave his shoulder muscles a shake. "A little stiff, but a lot better, thanks."
Having been communicating with Wilbert through letters for almost half a year but being the only time he saw him in person since his third year, Y/N was surprised how casual he felt around him, it was like reuniting with an old friend.
Will started shuffling through different pieces of paper. "So, according to the plan, our next move is -?"
"We need to get Ellie out of the Orphanage before anything," said Y/N. "Umbridge is foul, she'll want revenge on me as soon as possible. She has access to every students home addresses and she's already used Hermione's to attack her home. It doesn't help that Hogwarts has kidnapped my sister once before already."
Wilbert nodded. "Will your friends be alright? Harry Potter and - you said you have a girlfriend?"
Y/N did not respond immediately. "They'll certainly be shocked." he said eventually. "I won't even be surprised if they hate me for almost ruining their exams. But I trust they'll be fine. Hermione isn't the sort to cry over something like this. She's strong. And if all goes to plan, I'll be back by the summer holidays anyway."
"If all goes to plan," sighed Wilbert. "Guess I can't complain much. I pretty much egged you on when I sent you that first letter. When do we go to the Orphanage?"
"She's in school right now," said Y/N. "We'll have to wait till three before we get there. I'll need time to discuss this with Annie. She's going to be pissed."
"I'll bet."
"How are we getting there by the way? I haven't got a Portkey linked to the Orphanage, and we can't take the Knight Bus because they'll be looking for me by now."
