Highway Scuffle

Y/N POV

A few weeks after Neo became a Beacon student we chill out in our dorm when we hear a door close. We look out the window to see team RWBY sneaking out of Beacon. I look at Neo and she nods; we are teleported out of our dorm and follow after Yang. We hop from rooftop to rooftop until we arrive at a bar. We sneak inside the building until we see Yang and some blue haired dude talking to the bar tender. I focus my eyes on their lips and can see what they're saying.

Bartender: "I don't know."

Yang: "How could you not know?"

BT: "I haven't talked to him. I haven't even seen him since the night you first walked into my bar. He payed up front, I lent him my men and none of them ever came back."

Blue dude: "So where did they go?"

BT: "What kind of stupid question is that? They never came back. Who is this guy?"

Yang: "Don't worry about him. Worry about me if I don't find what I want."

BT: "I already told you everything. Torchwick hired my boys and I guess he wasn't happy with them. Which is something I can relate to."

Yang: "C'mon Neptune."

Neo teleports us out of the bar and onto a rooftop. That's when we see a giant robot come running down the street chasing Blake and that monkey. We take off after the robot and chase it down the highway. The robot trips over a sheet of ice and falls off the highway. We jump down and land as the robot stomps its way to us. Neo and I draw our sword and run at the robot.

I slice its side while Neo slices its leg. We grab hands and spin each other around reversing our slices. The robot goes to step on Neo but I pull her to safety. I use my sword to hold back the robot's foot but quickly find myself slipping. A ribbon wraps around my waist and I am pulled to safety. 

I look and see team RWBY readying their weapons. Ruby and I run towards the robot and each deliver a slash to its armor. I pivot and push off my foot slashing deep into the robot's face. It grabs me and tosses me to the side. I tumble before being teleported above the robot. I bring my sword down but have it caught by the robot.

Luckily Neo makes several clones of herself and manages to sever the robot's left arm. I swing my sword and flip over the robot. Yang jumps onto its back and punches sections of its armor away. The robot jumps back through two pillars; it then punches Yang through the third one. Yang's hair turns golden and she punches the robot's right arm to pieces.

The robot kicks Yang back but she catches Blake's weapon and is spun around. She tries to punch the robot but it just jumps back before it can be hit. I grit my teeth and speak.

Y/N: "Freeze."

The robot is frozen in place which allows Yang to finally punch it and break it apart. Roman falls out of it which makes Neo bare her teeth. She runs at Roman who smiles and drops a device. I run and use my body to protect Neo. The device explodes and emits a loud bang and a bright light. I recover my senses and see Roman is nowhere to be seen. I look to the sky and see him fly away in a bullhead. I let go of Neo and head back to our dorm. While I lay down on my bed I look over and see Neo blankly staring at the floor. I sit next to her and tap her shoulder.

Neo: *looks*

Y/N: *signs* "You okay?"

Neo: *signs* "Roman is still out there."

Y/N: "You're still worried about him?"

Neo: "He's up to something. He needs to be stopped."

Y/N: "We will stop him. You won't have to worry about him."

Neo: "But-"

Y/N: "No buts. I solemnly swear that as long as I'm here you will never have to worry about him."

Neo look at me and smiles.

Neo: "Thank you."

I pull her into a hug and tap on her shoulder in a certain way.

Y/N: *morse code* "You're welcome Neo."
