Meeting Family

Grimlock POV

Grimlock sitting on roof of dorm trying to remember what happened and why Grimlock let anger get to him, Grimlock hear footsteps behind him.

Ruby: Grim?

Grimlock turns around and sees Mom, Grimlock turn back to ledge feeling sorry. Mom sits next to Grimlock and wraps arm around me.

Grimlock: Grimlock sorry. Grimlock don't know-

Ruby: Shh, it's okay. You didn't mean for this to happen and no one is mad at you.

Grimlock grateful that Mom is understanding and caring, but Grimlock still feel like monster.

Ruby: *pulls Grimlock into hug* Anger may be the source of your strength but you can't let it control you. Every leader needs to be strong yet steady.

Grimlock: *smiles* Grimlock feel better.

Ruby: Good.

Mom continues hugging Grimlock for what feels like eternity and Grimlock feels more relaxed than before. Mom pulls away and suggests.

Ruby: Now, how bout we go meet my Uncle Qrow?

Grimlock: Who?

Ruby: Trust me, you'll like him. Come on, Grim.

       Mom takes my hand and leads Grimlock back to the dorm where Yang, Slag and an older man with black hair and red eyes.

Ruby: Hey guys.

Yang: Hey, sis. Hey, Grim. You feeling better?

Grimlock: Yes. Slag, Grimlock sorry for hurting you.

Slag: Eh. Apology accepted. Just warn me next time you do that, so I can really enjoy it.

     This gets a laugh out of the old man and Mom introduces us.

Ruby: Uncle Qrow, meet my son, Grimlock. Grimlock, Uncle Qrow, he taught me how to fight.

Qrow: Nice to meet ya, pipsqueak. *extends hand*

       Grimlock has instinct to bite at hand but holds back and accept the handshake.

Yang: Alright, Slag, Grim, you guys hungry?

Slag: I could eat.

Grimlock: Yes.... please.

Yang leads the way into the dorm room and gets both Slag and Grimlock snacks and our usual toys, while our moms talk with Qrow.

Ruby POV

Qrow: So, tell me how you two came to have kids.

Yang: If I remember right, we were with Weiss and Blake walking back to our dorm for the night several months ago.

Ruby: That's right. We heard rustling in the bushes and thought it might be Creeper Grimm. Then Grimlock comes out of the bushes, scared and unsure of us, but we saw he was in torn rags, dirty and scarred. We knew he needed help so I offered until a roar from the Emerald forest got Grim's attention and he races back to the forest.

Yang: Being our usual caring and stubborn selves, we followed Grim through the forest until we found the others trapped by a large Grimm. I asked Yang, Weiss and Blake to protect the other kids while I hepled Grimlock destrpy the Grimm.

Qrow: No offense, but how did a kid help beat a Grimm?

Grimlock: Offense taken.

Ruby: Grim, it's alright. Uncle Qrow, Grimlock and all of our kids can transform into, dinosaurs.
