I couldn't seem to get any sleep in this house. Every time I went to lie down, something came up. Those sirens were just another thing keeping me awake. Wrath came up to my room. "Hey kid, get down here, now." He said it with such worry, that I knew sleep wasn't important at the moment. I raced downstairs. Blue and red lights shone across the the living room from the windows. The ghosts went back into their human disguise forms and stepped outside. Claire and Ellie were standing on the front law. Claire was crying into Ellie's shoulder. The police were asking them questions. "Ma'am what exactly happened?" asked one of the officers. "Claire and I were walking her dog. When we came back the door was unlocked and all of that horrible graffiti was covering the walls." said Ellie. She was holding back tears. Envy had floated into the house while I was watching, and she flew back out. "It's trashed. The whole place has homophobic shit spray painted on the walls. The furniture is ripped. Who the fuck would do that?" I looked around. I was at a loss for words. That's when I saw Faith standing on her front porch. She had a look of content on her face. Her hands were painted. "That piece of shit." I muttered. I stormed over to her house as she was walking inside. I banged on her. When the door opened a man was there. He was tall, with a buzz cut. He had muscular arms and a face that looked like a bulldog's. He looked angry and like he could absolutely pummel me into the ground, but he also seemed stupid. Really, really, stupid. "Can I help you?" he said. His voice had a slight hint of a southern drawl, barely there as if he'd had an accent before and he lost it. "Where. Is. Faith." I said. He leaned in close to me. "Look pal, I don't know what the hell you're problem is, but you ain't speaking to my wife. Now hurry up and get the hell off of my lawn or else." "I'm not leaving until I speak to Faith. I know she broke into Claire's house." I was pissed. I didn't know where all of this confidence from. A woman way smaller stood up behind the mountainous prick. "W what's...Oh, you. Go inside Calum. I'll handle this." said Faith. Calum stepped inside. "Your husband radiates bottom energy, and not the good kind." I said. "What the heck is that supposed to mean?" "Faith I know you did that." Faith made a sarcastic innocence expression. "I'm sure I don't know what you mean."  "You know damn well what I mean.  You did all that shit in Claire's house." "That could have been anyone. They're insulting the word of God, the bible clearly sta-" "You know what? Shut the fuck up Faith. That's a bullshit argument." "There's no need to use such foul language. I do believe you should leave my property now young man." I was fuming. I stormed back to my house.  Wrath was in the doorway. "Kid, she's not-" "Not right now Wrath." I stepped inside. My mind was racing. Faith wouldn't get away with this. I'd make her pay. "Wrath tell Claire and Ellie they can stay here for the night if they want." Wrath nodded, went into his human form and went out the door. I sat at the table. Greed phased into the chair next to mine with some sort of ghostly laptop. "I know how we can get back at them, it's technically tax fraud but it will do the trick!" he said. I smiled. "No we can't do that. I need to find something out about her. Some facts she doesn't want getting out." "Mike I know you're pissed, but let's be honest here, if you do that you'll be just as bad as she is." Greed closed the laptop and faded through the floor. "Think about my plan though" he said as his head passed through the tile. The front door opened and wrath was there with Ellie and Claire. "Thanks for letting us stay here" said Claire teary eyed. Wrath put his hand on her shoulder. "You and El can take my room, third door to the right on the second floor." Claire smiled and walked upstairs shakily. "I'll be up there in a minute babe, try to go to sleep okay?" said Ellie warmly. Ellie turned to me. "I know who did it." "Faith right?" I responded. "No, Faith is an ass but she wouldn't break into someone's house. It was someone else." Ellie took a seat at the table. "Claire and I decided that I would move in with her. We've been bringing stuff from my old apartment over. I've been seeing the same guy scoping out the house. He's blonde with a weird tattoo of some kind on his forehead. He's pretty tall. For the past two weeks he's been showing up across the street and staring at the house. Now you know that tattoo I mentioned? It's a symbol, and I think the ghosts know where it's from." Wrath stumbled backwards "What do you mean 'ghosts' t-there's no such thing." Ellie tilted her head in a 'dude seriously?' expression. "You guys don't do a good job of hiding it. Don't worry I won't tell anyone." Wrath gulped. "So why do you think we would know about the symbol?" he said "Because it's the mark of the Underworld."
