We left Da Club about two hours later. Sloth did end up getting us kicked out, but the DJ loved his beats. We drove home in silence. When we got back we were all tired. "Guys go to bed, it's almost one am" Sloth said. We all headed to our rooms. The ghost's all changed back to their normal forms and headed to their rooms. I laid down on my bed without bothering to change. I looked at my palm and thought of Lauren. I'd call her in tomorrow. I wrote the number on a piece of paper I found on the old desk in my room. When I laid back down on the bed Lust knocked on my door. "Michael can I talk to you about something?" she said. "Of course." I responded. " she floated down onto my bed. She had a more serious look on her face now. "You know how I said I it was hard to find someone when you're a ghost?" "Yeah I remember." "I think I found someone, and they've been right under my nose for a long time." " Is it Pride?" Her eyes widened, and she blushed. "How the hell did you know?" "You've been kind of obvious about it. I see the way you act around him. "Gosh, I'm such an idiot, but yeah I like him. I just don't know if I should tell him. The last time I dated someone it... it didn't go well." She put her head in her hands. "What happened?" "She may or not have caused a few wild fires..." "I think you should still tell him Lust." "Ironic isn't it? I'm supposed to be able to do this stuff without a problem. I'm Lust. It's my thing." "It doesn't have to be. Just because it has a negative connotation to it doesn't mean you need to follow it. You can carve your own path. Find your own meaning. Make your own thing. You can do what you want. We'll all be here no matter what you choose to do." Lust hugged me. "Thanks Mike. That means a lot." She let go of me and cleared her throat. "I'll talk to you in the morning." She smiled and left my room. I closed my eyes and went to sleep.

The next morning the ghosts were at the kitchen table. Glut made eggs and bacon and everyone was eating. I looked at Lust. She was sitting across from Pride. I sat down and ate. Once we were done Lust called Pride over to the living room. "What's up Lust?" said pride. Lust was looking really nervous and she was trembling. "Um I-" she tensed up. She was floating there motionless. "Pride what Lust wanted to tell you is that she likes you, right Lust?" She nodded. "Wait Really? said Pride. He went up to Lust and hugged her. "Lust I've liked you too. For the longest time." She looked like she was about to cry from happiness. I decided to leave the two of them alone. Lust mouthed thank you as I went up to my room. It felt nice to help them out. The morning was quiet and I took the opportunity to read a book. That's when I heard the sirens.
