Beetlejuice and The daughter of Lydia

Beetlejuice's Pov~ 

I don't want Layla to go to school today. So I decided to turn off her alarm. I wasn't gonna wake her up until everyone was out of the house. It's 7am right now and I have to keep her asleep for about one more hour. I slowly open her door and lock it from the outside so she can't get out. We are gonna have so much fun today! 

"Hey Bee!" Lydia seems to be making coffee. Looks like times never changed. She has always loved coffee or caffeine.

"Hey Scarecrow!!" 

"Where is Layla, is she up yet?" I don't wanna lie to Lydia but me and her daughter have some unfinished business to attended to.

"I took her to school early! She wanted to have some extra time to finish her art project." 

"Oh alright well can you stay upstairs until Jayla and Kayla leave? I don't need Jayla missing a day of school because he saw a demon." Fine I'll respect her wishes of not scaring her child.

"Hmph, fine." I march back up to Layla's room. She is still sound asleep, and looks so peaceful. I sit on the floor messing with my fingers. I see her head pop up from her pillow.

"Hey, Morning mister." I put my fingers to her mouth and shush her. "Hmm?"

"I woke you up late so we can go out and ya know unfinished business." I whisper 

"Ohhh ok!" I could tell she was a bit nervous, I just want to be there for her. The front door slams shut shaking the whole house.

"Oh no, Lydia's mad." Lydia hates slamming doors, but it slammed loud.

"Are you scared of my mother?" She giggled, no I'm totally not... ok maybe a little bit. There are only 3 things that scare me My mother, Lydia and Layla.

"Uh... ahaha no couldn't be." I gave Layla a fake smile and pulled her out of bed. "Let's go Babes!" 

"Ok, ok, give me a second to get ready." I sat outside her door waiting for her to get ready. She pushes the door open whacking me in the head.

"Hey! You could've killed me." 

"You're already dead idiot." What she could've. I grab Layla's hand and juice us to Vince's house. We end up on the back of his roof.

"We're here." I look into her eyes, I can tell she is terrified. 

"Hey Beej?" She looks up making eye contact with me and I get this feeling in my stomach. I smile.

"Yes Bug?"

"Thank you." She hugs me tight.

Layla's Pov~

"Let's do this." I am absolutely terrified but having Beetlejuice by my side makes me feel much better, I couldn't do this without him. Beej juices up some matches, he hands them to me. I strike a match and I drop one down his chimney. Is it bad I find this fun? I light another match and lay it down on the roof watching the little flame slowly grow bigger. Beetlejuice grabs my hand and in a blink of an eye we are standing in front of Vince's burning house. "What if someone-" he wraps his arm around my waist and we sit on the curb watching it burn down. Vince runs out with a phone in his hand. He looks in our direction and doesn't seem to see us. I whisper to Beej "He can't see us?"

"No he can't, I am a demon with powers." We stay there watching the firetrucks pull up to the house.

"My dog is still in there." I forgot about his dog

"Beej, please go save his dog. His dog didn't do anything wrong!"

"Oh come on why?"

"Beetlejuice please." I looked him in the eye and my eyes started to water, I love his dog and Violet didn't do anything to me just Vince did.

"Ok, ok." Beetlejuice juices me to another street and leaves me there. Where did he go, why did he just leave me. Suddenly I'm back in my room and Beetlejuice is nowhere to be seen. 

"Bee?" I look around and I don't know what I did.

"Bug?" Beetlejuice hugs me tight as if he hasn't seen me in forever. His hair was blue I knew something was up.

"What's wrong?" He lays on my bed and I sit next to him. 

"Juno... uh said I have to decide tomorrow if I wanna stay here or go back." His voice is very shaky. Obviously he is gonna stay he has to! I love him... I lay my head on his chest.

"I'll support you no matter your decision." I had to make sure he knew I'd be there no matter what, even if I didn't want him to go. He starts to stroke my hair.

"Thanks bug." His hair turns a bright pink color. We lay on my bed for a bit. I sit up and stretch my back cracks. Beej sits up too, we sit facing each other not saying anything. 

"Hey Beej-" all of a sudden I feel his lips touch mine and I'm silent. I didn't know how I felt, there was this rush going through my body. I was happy but mad because I wanted to be the one to make the first move, but is this wrong? I'm 15 he is like 3000 years old. 

"Sorry..." he looks down, but I grab his chin and bring his lips to mine.

"Don't be." I lay my head on his shoulder with a big smile on my face. I never thought I'd end up falling in love with a demon but here I am. 

Beetlejuice's Pov~

She kissed me back, I thought I screwed up. This 15 year old girl makes me feel things I haven't felt in years and it's crazy. I'm crazy for liking a human. Demon and human don't go together but Layla and I go together!
