Jonas cleared his throat before gently rapping his fingers against the wall. "Er-.. Phineas..?" He asked softly, voice hoarse from little sleep. For a few moments, all there was was the hum of the air vents before there was a soft pattering, almost too quiet to hear, and then a gentle rapping on the other side of the wall.

"You gotta be quieter over here. You almost woke mom." A tiny voice murmured. Jonas felt a grin spread across his face.
"Ah, yeah, sorry- I forgot." Jonas sighed, leaning his side against the wall. "I just couldn't fall back asleep and assumed you would be free to talk- it's um, it's nice to hear your voice."
There was a small chuckle on the other side of the wall. "I am now, after your loud honking voice woke me up." Phineas giggled. Jonas found himself laughing slightly as well.
"Yeah, sorry- just had this stupid dream and couldn't go back to sleep after it." He rubbed his eyes, remembering the massive, white figure looming over his bed. His body tensed.
"Oh no, what was it?" Phineas asked, his voice tainted with concern. Jonas heard soft shuffling from the wall- he could almost imagine a tiny figure sitting down.
"Eh, just a stupid sleep paralysis demon." Jonas huffed, crossing his arms tight over his chest.
"Sleep.. paralysis..?" Phineas asked. There was a bit more shuffling.
"It's- basically where you wake up, and your kind of frozen to your bed- and then there's usually something creepy in your room." His hands waved around the air, trying to emphasize for someone who couldn't see him. "Not fun."
"Aw, I'm sorry." The small voice sympathized. "That must be really scary."
"Mhm." For a moment, Jonas was quiet, nervously contimplating on adding the last part, before taking a breath. "It.. it sort of reminded me of you- not in a bad way." He said in a rush.
He could practically feel the confusion radiating off of Phineas. "Like," his hands started waving about again, "Just having this massive thing looming over you, and being just so much smaller than it-" There was a hitched breath from the other side of the wall. For a few, dragging moments there was no noise other than the ever familiar hum of the walls.
"What makes you say that..?" Phineas' voice was slow, cautious. Almost scared.
"Oh god." Jonas groaned, burying his face into his palms, chuckling. "I just had this stupid idea in my head, since just- oh god now I feel like an idiot. I just thought that a person couldn't live in the walls, especially after the cops searched the house, and then I got this stupid idea that was like 'well what if he's small?' and it feels perfectly sane to think about but saying it out loud.." He let out a long sigh, leaning back. "Sorry, I should've just-"
"Nono, your ok." The small voice came in a rush, very frazzled. "Your-..." His voice trailed off, inaudible.
"What was that..?" Jonas pressed his ear against the plaster, heart fluttering nervously.
"Just- ok just stay where you are.. look beneath the book shelf." Phineas murmured, his voice slowly growing faint. Jonas felt an odd kick in his chest. Like something crazy was about to happen. For a few moments there was nothing, his eyes straining to see through the darkness to the shelf leg, before suddenly there was a small movement.
His eyes widened as the tiniest boy he had ever seen slowly stepped out beneath the shelf, a blanket around his little body. His eyes were wide, nervous- Jonas' hand shot up to grab at his own hair, disbelief filling his gut. He knew this was kind of what he expected, but damn. It was real. "H.. holy hell." He breathed, a nervous grin spreading across his face. The teen nervously shifted across the floor, brushing his hair from his eyes.
"Oh my God, Phineas." Jonas breathed, wrapping one arm around his knees and slowly leaning forwards. He didn't want to scare him away. "Holy crap- oh my God, come here..!" He hoped he didn't sound creepy or overbearing, he just- holy crap he just wanted to give the tiny a big hug.
Phineas' feet shuffled slightly, before he slowly started to work his way over to the human. Part of Jonas just wanted to reach out and grab him, but he could only guess how horrifying that would be. "Hh.. oh gosh this feels so weird." Phineas murmured, a slight chuckle in his voice. "My whole life was based around not letting beans see you, and I thought I could loophole that, but here I am."
Jonas felt a small pang of guilt in his chest at the comment, and he slowly let his legs slid down to a more comfortable position. "P-Phineas, you seriously don't have to be out here." He said reluctantly, fiddling with his fingernails. The small figure shook his head and only got closer.
"Nono, it's.. it's ok, I'm just a little nervous, that's all." Phineas gave Jonas a small smile, stopping only a few inches away from the humans hand planted firmly on the floor. Holy shit he was so small- he wasn't even as big as one of his fingers.
"Can.. can I pick you up..?" Jonas breathed, a finger twitched slightly. He could see the nervous battle between yes and no in the little teens eyes, before he took a deep breath.
"Y-yes." He said firmly, taking a small step towards Jonas' hand. The human grinned, before as slowly and gently as possible, scooped up the tiny being, his tiny limbs bumping against his palm and fingers. He was so light, it was like holding a mouse. Phineas quickly bundled the blankets back around his body, resting his head against the pad of his palm.

(Drawing hands is hard smh)
"Oh my God, Phineas. Holy crap." He brushed a thumb pad against the tiny's cheek, wincing as Phineas flinched. "Can.. can I hug you..?" Jonas asked nervously, his hands unconsciously lifting upwards. Phineas nodded, and almost immediately he was pulled up, gently pressing Phineas against his chest and letting out a long sigh, trying to hold him as least awkwardly as possible. "Oh my God, I was-was kind of thinking you were just imaginary- since I couldn't find any squatters, which is kind of horrifying now that I say it out loud, but my stupid theory felt so outlandish, but here you are- oh my God I just- can't believe your real."
His words were just rushing out, he seriously couldn't wrap his head around this. Phineas let out a small, nervous chuckle, his tiny fingers grabbing onto the humans neck. "I'm, uh, I'm real." He murmured, burying his face in the humans neck. Jonas felt a chill run up his spine.
"Oh my God I love you so much right now." Jonas let out a chuckle, gently rubbing a finger on Phineas' head, mussing up his hair.
"I do to."
