My eyes slowly opened. I sat up in my bed. I looked around my room. What a weird dream. A dream in a dream type of dream. The weirdest part was that... Jennifer was in it?
JENNIFER'S POV
"Take out the garbage" My mom demanded. I groaned. I grabbed the bag of trash and walked outside. Nolan was out there. He walked towards me with a football in his hands. I put the trash in the trash can.
"Hey Jen"
"Sup"
"Okay so I was wondering if you would like to come to the movies with me?"
Hahaha.
"Um what day and what time?"
"Tomorrow around 7-ish"
"Sure I guess. Can I bring a friend?"
I heard him make an obnoxious sigh.
"Yeah fine"
"K see you there" I walked away.
But, then I turned my feet towards Justin's house. I knocked the door. About 30 seconds passed by. I knocked again. He finally opened it.
"Hey Justin come to the movies with me at 7 tomorrow"
"Uh okay"
"Yay I'll see you then"
"Okay bye" He closed the door as I walked away.
(Fast forward to 6:30 , right before the movie)
My doorbell rang.
"Bye mom seeya later"
"Bye honey"
I opened the door. There Nolan was with flowers. I forced a smile.
"Aw how nice of you"
I took them and set them on a table, obviously not caring for them. Nolan was hot but you know. He's gonna have to do more than that to earn my respect again.
I stepped outside.
"Okay so let me go get Justin"
He let out a quiet sigh. I knocked on Justin's door. After about 5 seconds he opened it.
"Hey" I grinned.
"Hi"
"Lets go"
I walked away as Justin followed me. He was super quiet.
Soon, we were in Nolan's car. I chose to sit in the back with Justin. Nolan gave Justin cold eyes as Justin just stared at him hopeless.
"You could totally whoop Nolan's ass" I whispered to Justin. He smiled as he sat there awkwardly. Nolan looked at Justin through the rear view mirror. He clenched his jaw and looked out the window for a second. I smirked to Justin.
"So Justin, tell me about yourself" Nolan spoke up, smirking while looking at Justin through the mirror.
"There's really nothing much"
"Hmm"
Nolan just grinned.
"Tell us about yourself, Nolan" I said.
He smirked.
"Well for starters, football player, Dog lover, ummm cat lover", He laughed," and hmmm I don't know, Lady lover?"
"Ahhhhh nice" I smiled at his response. Justin stared at me when he noticed my smile.
"Well we're here guys" Nolan parked the car. He ran over to my side and opened the door. Justin watched.
"How nice of you Nolan" I half-smiled.
"No problem" He winked.
We all started walking towards the movie theater. Nolan ordered the tickets and we sat in our theater. Nolan went back out to get snacks because we were a little early so you know.
"Sooo" Justin coughed. Oh sweet baby Jesus did Justin start the conversation for once? He didn't really start it but he said "so" and I'm satisfied with that.
"You excited?" I asked while staring into Justin's eyes.
"Yes.. are you?" His lips were curving slowly. Then, Nolan came of course. He sat next to me.
"I got this for you Jennifer" Nolan handed me a chocolate bar, a candy, and a drink.
"Aw thank you" I hugged his lower body.
Nolan seemed to be really nice today, I haven't heard any rude comments made to Justin. I'm starting to like Nolan again, as a friend. Justin's head looked away.
"Hey" I poked his shoulder. He smiled at me.
"Woah" Nolan laughed as he stared into my eyes. Justin's smile turned into a straight line. I smirked. Perhaps I'm sensing a little jealousy?
Could Justin possibly like me in that way? My smile grew.
"I'm going to the bathroom before the movie starts" Nolan said. Good. Now I can start my questioning.
"So, do you like anyone at the moment?" I smirked.
"I don't know why?"
"Just wondering"
Okay I kind of want to try something to see if I have any affect on him. I bit my lip trying to hold in my laughter. I put my serious face on and turned to Justin.
"So.." I smirked. Nolan was walking towards our seats. He sat down. My laugh was coming again, so I bit my lip to hold it in. I smiled at Nolan. My hand grabbed the back of his head and pulled his face closer to mine. I could feel his hair in between my fingers. My mouth was close to Nolan's ear. I felt Justin's stare and also Nolan's smile.
"Try some" one of my hands were free so I grabbed a candy and slowly put it in Nolan's mouth. He smirked as he chewed. I slowly let go of him. I turned my head to look at Justin. He was staring at me with no emotion.
"Oh do you want some too?"
I put a candy in between my teeth and brought Justin's face closer to mine. He stared into my eyes as he took the candy from my mouth with his teeth. He raised his eyebrows as he chewed it. Mission accomplished. Yeah, I'm totally sensing that Justin likes me. I smirked. I probably looked like a whore right there because I went to Nolan then Justin. But, just know it was my little game. I smirked once again and turned away. Nolan seemed pissed, but it's whatever I don't really care.
(After the movie, right when it ended)
Nolan held the door open for me.
"Aw thank you" He closed it on Justin and kept walking. My eyes rolled. I stopped and waited for Justin to catch up.
"How'd you like the movie"
Justin smiled.
"It was nice" He said lowly. Nolan opened the car door for me. I smiled. He ran to his side as Justin stepped in.
"You know, Jennifer, I think you could be an actress because you're that beautiful" Nolan commented. He smiled.
"I do not agree with you but I will say thank you" I laughed.
After that, the whole ride was silent. No one talking. Until we got into our street.
"We're here"
Nolan parked and jogged to my side of the car. He opened the door. He bowed.
"m'lady" He spoke. I could see Justin's eyes go up. A smile formed on my face.
"I'll see you later, Nolan" I tapped his chest and walked towards Justin.
"And I'll see you later" I opened my arms for a hug and Justin smiled. He hugged me back.
"Bye" His smile was sweet as we pulled apart.
