hours had passed but it only felt like minutes. being too immersed in chatter none of us took note of the time.

it was now currently 5:13pm.

and so we decided to leave the cafe and just walk around the nearby park.

we ended up walking to the han river, again because we were to immersed in chatter. "let's order chicken!" kai suggested walking backwards along with soobin, as they waited for all our answers.

"yeah!" i agreed along, trying to persuade the rest. "alright then let's stop here." yeonjun suggested, walking onto the grass.

"kai and i will go and rent out a picnic mat, you guys start ordering." soobin said, before walking with kai to one of the nearby convenience stores.

"what else do you guys want?" yeonjun asked, tapping away at his phone.

"oo tteokbokki!" taehyun requested.

"here hyung you order the chicken, i'll order the tteokbokki and stuff." beomgyu proposed.

"ok 콜 (call)." yeonjun said.

soobin and kai finally returned, spreading out the large mat on the floor allowing all of us to sit.

"we got some drinks as well." soobin pulled the plastic bag in front of himself pulling out a mixture of sodas and beer.

"nice!" yeonjun exclaimed, excitedly grabbing a can of beer and popping it open.

when suddenly both yeonjun and beomgyu got a phone call informing them that the delivery guy was here with the food.

"i'll go hyung." taehyun offered. "i'll help him." i added, feeling bad for not doing anything. i got up following taehyun.

"where did they say to collect again?" i asked trying to put a end to the slightly awkward silence.

"um just by the stairs i think" he answered. "so how long have you known yeonjun hyung." he continued.

"ummm just about 8 months now" i tried to remember. "what about you?" i carried on the conversation.

"almost 6 years now, we went to the same middle school," he added, "all of us did."

"ahh makes sense."

we finally reached the pickup place. taking our food from the drivers we made our way back to the group.

after eating and chatting some more we had finally decided to part ways, the boys taking buses and subways back, while yeonjun and i walked back to the cafe. where his car was.

"see i told you they're fun" yeonjun beamed nudging me.

"yeah yeah." i rolled my eyes, not wanting to agree with him.

"but seriously how did you find today? i hope i didn't pressure you into doing anything you were uncomfortable with." he became serious.

"no it was fun," i reassured him. "i'm actually kinda glad you pushed me into being more social. i'm still not fully there yet but it takes time." i smiled trying to make him worry less. "plus i'm sure i can trust the boys right??" i nudged him back like he did earlier.

"yes, definitely." he chuckled at my action, feeling a little relieved from my words.

we finally arrived at the parking lot by the cafe.

hopping into the car, we began our journey.

"it's only 8pm." yeonjun quickly glanced at the dashboard screen which displayed the time. "do you have to be home early?"

"nah i'll be good. no one will probably even notice i'm gone."

"good, i wanna take you somewhere." he reverted his destination, driving some place else.

the dusty road became familiar as we upturned into the same junction leading up to the cliff.

we were back at the same look out point, except this time yeonjun had parked a little closer to the edge, allowing us to see everything from inside the car.

"i discovered a new trick my car can do." he turned to me excitedly like a kid getting a lollipop.

he tapped a few buttons on the dashboard screen, "look" he pointed at the rooftop that was now slowly opening revealing all the brightly lit stars.

i slightly gasped, the view never failing to amaze me every time.

yeonjun took off his seatbelt reclining his chair to allow him to lay facing the sky.

"press the button on the side." he told me.

"where." i couldn't find anything.

"down there." he pointed at no where.

"ok am i blind or something? i cant find anything." i said still searching for the so called button.

"lemme show you." he got out of his seat, leaning over me and pressing the button. which wasn't even a button, it was camouflaged on the side of the chair.

pulling it up, he began reclining my chair. i had not realised how close we were, yeonjun now on top of me, his hand positioned next to my head to stop him from falling on top of me.

the chair not only laid me down but brought yeonjun down with me. bringing us now back to the strong tensioned eye contact we were having.

snapping himself back to reality he quickly scrambled down laying back on his chair. this also brought me back out of whatever the fuck just happened.

he cleared his throat, sitting up and tapping some things on the screen and then positioning himself back.

luckily he put some music on, making the atmosphere slightly less awkward.
