~ No P.O.V. ~

Rantaro and Kokichi were on an empty road, taking a walk and just talking with eachother. They loved going for walks in places that were peaceful. Why? Because nothing can go wrong.. Or.. Can it?

"Mmmm~ Don't you think it's weird just being alone on a road?" "A bit. But it is very peacful and quiet, so that is what I enjoy about them." "True true. At lest we can get aw-" Kokichi suddenly stopped talking and looked in a different direction. "Rantaro.. Did you hear that?" Kokichi whispered. "Hear what?" "That sound.." "Which sound?" "I don't know what it was.." "I'm sure it's nothing, don't worry Kokichi." "If you say so.." 

A couple of minutes passed and Kokichi heard the same sound once again. "There it goes again." "The sound?" "Shh! Keep quiet.. It's getting louder and it sounds like.. Giggling." "Are you sure..?" "Shhh!" As much as Rantaro wanted to believe Kokichi, he wasn't hearing anything himself. "Kokichi.. are you alright? There's no giggling coming from anywhere. We are on a fully empty road." Kokichi wasn't responding, all he did was look down to the ground and place his hands on his face. "I can go check if around if you'd like." Kokichi again wasn't speaking, he had only nodded. "I'll be.. I'll be back."  Rantaro started to power walk, that power walking turned into running in mere seconds. Soon, Rantaro grabbed his phone and started to call Kaede and Shuichi. "Hey Rantaro! What do you need?" "Kaede.. There's something wrong with Kokichi.. I-I left him standing somewhere, I am not even sure where.. But, he said he heard giggling and that it was becoming louder but I wasn't hearing anything. Then he placed his hands on his face and I think I saw him grin beforehand, I don't think this is a prank." Before he knew it, Rantaro had reached a local tavern and entered in. "Okay, I am at the tavern just before the road we went to, could you pick me up? And could you hurry?" "A-Alright! Stay safe, me and Shuichi will be there soon!" Kaede hung up. Rantaro was a bit scared he knew when something of Kokichi's was a prank or lie but.. This time he knew it wasn't.

Just about 3 minutes after Rantaro had finished his call with Kaede, out of no where Kokichi walked into the tavern.  He was all messed up. His clothes are dirty, his scarf was ripped, his hands were bloody and his hair was messy and it was covering most of his face. "Rantaro.. Why did you leave me?" "K-Kokichi.. It's.. Don't mistake it." Rantaro stood up from his seat and started backing up, but Kokichi was coming closer with every step Rantaro took. "Why did you leave me.." "I didn't. I went to get us something to eat." "You left me! You left me on that empty road.. You left me there to rot. All I did was love you Rantaro.. All I did was show affection to you and this is how you pay me back?!" "No! Kokichi you misunderstood it!" Rantaro hit the wall as Kokichi came closer and stood on the tip of his toes, cupping Rantaro's cheek with his bloody hand. "It's fine.. At least we're back together now. Let's go back. Let's go back into the bubble of paradise we have created, my beloved.. A world where nobody can interrupt us. A world we rule.." Rantaro heard a honk outside the tavern so he slightly pushed Kokichi away and ran to the door. Kokichi followed him outside. 

Rantaro entered Kaede's car, even tho he hates them, but he'd rather get in a car than risk his life. "Are you okay?" "Yea, I'm fine but.." Kokichi reached the car and knocked on the window, faint stains of blood now dirtying the window. "My beloved.. I thought we agreed on something. You're just going to leave our paradise behind?" "Okay.. He isn't okay." Kaede said, observing Kokichi. "What is happening?" Shuichi added. "Kaede. Drive." "But we can't just leave him here!" "Kaede.. Please, listen to me." Kaede nodded and started driving away as fast as she could. Rantaro looked behind him, now seeing Kokichi facing them and grinning. 

~ Time skip ~ 

Kaede, Rantaro and Shuichi had reached their house and quickly entered in. "What was that?" Shuichi asked. "I am not sure but-" Rantaro got cut off by the door opening.

It was Kokichi but he was all clean and had his hat and cape on. "I'm back from my organization! Did ya miss me~?"  

So who was with Rantaro this whole day?
