~ No P.O.V. ~ 

Kokichi had woken up Rantaro, telling him to get dressed and that he has a surprise for him. Rantaro wasn't even aware the day was Valentines day. He had even forgot the notion of time. "Cmonn Rantaroo~ Get up and get dressed you sleepy head." Kokichi said  whining. "Alright alright, wait he-" "No I am not waiting for you, I've got to go." Kokichi cut Rantaro off and gave him a peck on the cheek before running off and leaving him behind. 

~ Rantaros P.O.V. ~ 

'Why did he wake me up and then just run off? It is whatever..I will just get dressed.' I got up and picked some clothes to wear, after that I got a text from Kokichi.

'What exactly is he planning?' I thought to myself before picking another set of clothes and putting them on. I started to text Kokichi.

 Hey, I'm dressed up, where do I have to go?

Head to the lake where we usually spend time together, I will meet you there~

                                                                                                                                               Alright, I will be there soon.

And so I headed to the lake. Not knowing what I'd expect.

~ No P.O.V. ~

Rantaro had gotten to the lake, looking around for Kokichi. Until he appeared behind him and scared him. "Hahah! Gotcha~" Kokichi said proudly. Rantaro chuckled. "What do you need me here for?" "Have you forgotten? Its Valentines day! I am treating you to a special dinner I made myself!" "Ah I am sorry Kokichi, I really did forget. I will make it up to you tomorrow, alright? "It is fine~ No need to worry at all." Kokichi took Rantaro by the hand and dragged him to a table he set up. "Wow Kokichi, you really went through all of this trouble by yourself?" "Wellll, Kaede did help me over one thing." "And which thing is it?" "Oh shush, its a surprise I am going to reveal at the end~" Rantaro started to wonder what it could be. "Now sit down, lets have the dinner first shall we?" Kokichi revealed a pizza shaped in a heart, placed in the middle of the table. "Ta daa~!" "As expected from you." Rantaro chuckled. "Everybody knows I would choose this, come on now." Kokichi said as he sliced the pizza in half, putting one half onto Rantaros plate and the other one on his. 

~ Time skip ~

After they ate the dinner, it was time for dessert. Kokichi prepared a strawberry cake and put a slice onto Rantaro's plate. "Just to tell you something, look before you take a bite." "What do you mean?" "Just do so." Kokichi started to eat his cake, and so did Rantaro. 

A bit of minutes passed and Rantaro noticed something was in the cake. It was a ring. Kokichi looked at him, smirking and watching as Rantaro was pulling the ring out of the cake. "Kokichi, what's this?" "Its your engagement ring you oblivious avocado." Kokichi was waiting for him to realize. "But we are no-" It took a moment for it to click to Rantaro. "OH- HOLD ON- KOKICHI, DID YOU JUST?" "Mhm~" Kokichi got up and walked over to Rantaro. "You know..You really make me the happiest person. So.." He took the ring out of Rantaro's now shaky hands and got on one knee. "Will you stay with me until death pulls us apart?" Kokichi smiled. "I..Of course I will. Kokichi, you didn't even have to ask me." Tears fell from Rantaros cheeks. "Now give me your hand." Kokichi took Rantaro's hand and placed the ring on his finger. Almost immediately Rantaro hugged Kokichi. "I dont think I will ever be as happy as I am right now." Rantaro said crying. "Neither do I." Kokichi added. Rantaro pulled back and kissed Kokichi. 

They were just enjoying their time, talking about how many memories they have had with each other. Being the love birds they truly are.
