~ 𝓞𝓾𝓶𝓪𝓶𝓲 𝓞𝓷𝓮𝓼𝓱𝓸𝓽𝓼 ~

~~ 𝓐𝓷𝓷𝓲𝓿𝓮𝓻𝓼𝓪𝓻𝔂 𝓷𝓲𝓰𝓱𝓽 ~~

~ No P.O.V. ~

Kokichi and Rantaro have been invited to the anniversary of Hope's Peak High-School. Every 10 years the school has a special night to celebrate a milestone of it's existence. This time, the anniversary was celebrated later than any other time so all students of Hope's Peak would have more time to prepare. So, let's check in with the two, shall we?

~ 9 pm, an hour before the party ~ 

"Kokichi! Are you done?" Rantaro shouted from the other side of the door. "Hold on! I have to just-" Kokichi said as he quickly set the hairdryer back to the bathroom countertop and exited. "Now I am. Now go! We have less than an hour so ya better hurry!" "That was my intention after all." Rantaro shut the door and quickly hopped in the shower without even thinking about letting the water warm up. 

Kokichi rushed to the closet and took their suits out, soon enough putting his own on. 

~ Time skip ~ 

Kokichi was dozing off a lot whilst he was struggling with his tie, but not to worry, Rantaro got out of the bathroom just now. "Kokichi, are you ready?" Rantaro said while looking at Kokichi and putting his suit on. Kokichi lifted his head and stared at Rantaro, unresponsive, before looking back down and quickly tying his tie. "Are you alright?" "Uh- Yea! Haha..! Uhm.." Kokichi tried to hide his embarrassment. "You sure?" "Absolutely!" "Okay then..?" Rantaro was confused, but knew something was up. 

~ 9 pm, 15 minutes before the party ~ 

Both of them were finished with dressing up, Rantaro was putting on his rings and Kokichi was just sitting in the living room, completely dozed off. 

"Alright, everything is done. Let's go, we have to hurry." "Aren't Kaede and Shuichi picking us up?" "Yes, they should be here in 5 minutes." "Wait- Don't you hate cars?" "I do, but I decided to suck it up this time." "Interesting~" Kokichi said before a horn could cut him off, it was Kaede and Shuichi in a car with Kaede's mom driving. "C'mon! Let's go!" Kokichi grabbed Rantaro's hand and quickly rushed out of the house, slipping off a ring of his before entering the car and wearing it on his finger. 

"You two look amazing!" Kaede commented. "You do too Kaede, and I'm sure somebody else here agrees." Rantaro elbowed Shuichi ever so slightly while Kaede and Kokichi giggled. "It's my job to tease him! Stoppppp~" Kaede laughed. "Maybe nobody should tease me at all, how about that?" "God~! You're such a party pooper Shuichi!" "Or you're bad at having fun...?" "Hey hey- Calm down all of you, we're here."  "Oh right!" Kaede opened her side of the door and exited, the rest of the group followed. "Have fun kids!" Kaede's mom waved and drove off. 

The 4 entered the school and were dazed with bright lights coming from the whole room. It looked magical, just like a fairytale. "Woah that's bright-" Kokichi commented. "I mean, it is a special anniversary after all! Now come on, let's go grab some seats!" Kaede took Shuichi by his hand and dragged him to a nearby table. "Ah- Uhm-" Were the only things Shuichi could say before blushing a bit and covering himself in his hat. "Hey Kokichi, have you seen my ring?" "What ring? Ooooh! Are you planning to propose to me~? And so soon? Woah.. Such a shame you lost the ring." "No- No-" "Waaaah! Rantaroo! I thought we were soulmates!" "Kokichi- The ring I had on my thumb." Rantaro lifted his arm and showed that a ring was missing. "Oohhh. Hah, that one. Yeaaa~ I have it, why?" "How did you-" "I have my ways." "When did you even-?" "I slipped it off your thumb before we entered the car. How did you not notice??" "I'm not sure, either way, let's go join Kaede and Shuichi." 

~ Time skip, 1:45 am ~

The 4 were having fun, joking with each other at the table. The night was full of joy and laughter until everyone had to go home. 

Surprisingly, Rantaro and Kokichi were so tired they basically passed out as soon as they laid onto the bed. They didn't even take their suits off or changed to anything else, they just- Slept in the suits. But the night was over, and they had a great time. That was the most important thing.
