Jess smiled as he saw how Rory had fallen asleep in front of the television as he put the television off throwing a blanket over Rory as he heard how the phone rang.
Leaving it to ring the person left a message which Jess heard. So I know I apparently don't have an opinion on what happens to my ex-girlfriend because she's already fallen for another guy but I'm going to raise it anyway. Jess is bad news, Rory. You know it. I know you know it. And regardless what you say he won't change. Doesn't matter what. I hope you're okay and I'll try again later.
Looking at how peaceful the young girl was asleep he heard as a car stopped outside seeing as Luke and Lorelai came in the house.
"She just fell asleep. Did you know she and Dean broke up?" Jess asked.
"No I didn't. But that sure would explain why he hasn't been here. Has she eaten anything?" Lorelai asked as Jess shook his head.
"She said she wasn't hungry. But we did have a lot of coffee and pie at the diner so that's understandable," Jess said.
"Okay let's go. You still need to attend school tomorrow," Luke said.
"Bye, Lorelai. See you tomorrow," Jess said as they were gone."Awfully worried about her. Sure you don't have at least a minor crush on her?" Luke asked.
"Can you ask me that later? When I've recovered from the whole accident maybe. I just want to sleep and I'll tell you tomorrow about everything," Jess said.
"Okay then. Let's go," Luke said.
