I'm so glad we won that challenge, hopefully once we catch some fish we can finally have some real food in us. It's been a hard four days, living off coconut, crabs and fruit. On top of that we've spent our days keeping the fire going, expanding our shelter and trying to make improvements to our living space. Anything to give a some comfort out in the harsh climate of Vanuatu.

The only person who I've noticed isn't pulling their weight around camp is Penelope, which is infuriating because she's one of the more physically able members of our tribe. All she does is tell people what to do while she sits in the shelter, a few days of crippling hunger, exhaustion and thirst had left us all feeling a bit disheartened. But she was the only one to downright give up, so the next time we go to tribal, she will be the one who is leaving.

Colby, Nick and I decided to go try our luck with the new fishing gear and on our way down I noticed Penelope digging through some shells quite far away on the shore. It struck me as a little bit suspicious but I brushed it off and continued down to the water. I decided to see where the boys were at in terms of voting despite it not even being the immunity challenge yet.

As If reading my mind Nick asks, "So guys who's it going to be next tribal?"

I like Nick, he's friendly but really switched on and strategic which is great when your in an alliance in him, I feel bad for e people who are on the outside. Which I guess are just Rhea and Penelope. Xavier maybe could be considered but he's not really with anyone so he'd me smart to approach one of us with who he's voting so we can see if we can trust him.

"Well obviously either Penelope or Rhea," I say and they both nod clearly thinking the same thing.

"I think Penelope," Nick says, "she's been lounging around and not bring too much to challenges so unless she pulls her weight at the immunity challenge I think we go with her."

His reasoning made sense and I nodded on with him, but Colby interrupted, "But we shouldn't rule out Rhea, although keeping our tribe strong is important we don't want any strategic or strong members on the outside of our alliance when we come to merge," he brought up another valid point.

We all agreed on that too, both options looking like good ones. I guess it'll depend on the outcome of the next challenge.

Although we won that challenge, I feel slightly concerned about the way I performed. Rhea and I have been left on the outside of the alliance, it's clear to anyone and I think it's prime time for me to look at the clue I found on the first tree mail. I've been waiting until a few days in when people are more settled so I can slip out without raising too much suspicion.

I know if we loose the next immunity challenge, chances are they'll be voting me out. I've been thrown a lot of shade from the main alliance regarding my sleeping habits and performance in challenges so I really need to stay aware.

I decide to go for a water break and as I leave camp I pull the wrapped note out of my satchel. The clue to the hidden immunity idol was in the first tree mail we got, I'd been pondering over it since I first read it and finally concluded it was around the well somewhere.

As soon as I got there I checked under every rock surrounding the well and to my dismay nothing.

"Where are you?" I asked aloud as I looked around. To my right I noticed a large log, as I approached it I heard footsteps in the not so far distance.

"Shit," I muttered and quickly pulled out my water canteen quickly bring it my lips to look like I'd just filled it up.

"Hey Penelope," Ashley says as she comes around the corner with a transparent smile on her face. She does not like me a single bit and although it's in her nature to hide that, it is blatantly obvious to me.
