The sound of the fire crawling mixed with the chirp of the bugs filled the starless night sky. It created a ominous feeling in the air as Mele made there way into the wooden hut tribal council was hosted in.

"Welcome Mele to tribal council, grab a touch from behind you and light it in this fire pit. In this game fire represents your life, once your fire goes out so do you," Jeff said out stretching his arm to the large fire pit in the centre of the room.

Each tribe member one by one dipped their torches into the fire and as Lain turns to leave she catches Wes's eye, she glares at him challengingly he turns pretending he didn't see her and dips his torch in the fire.

As everyone sits down Jeff clears his throat, eager to grill the contestants about their life at camp and what went wrong today.

"So Benjamin, what's been the biggest adjustment coming onto survivor?"' Jeff asks and Benjamin gives him a big smile.

"Defs not having running water! Man I smell so bad Jeff you should get a whiff!" He says lifting up his arm to indicate his armpits.

"Trust me he reeks!" Jackson says and everyone breaks out in laughter, the banter serving to ease the tension.

"Cressandra, how has camp life been at Mele?" Jeff asks, steering the conversation back to the game.

"Look I could say it's run smoothly, but it's a massive change to what we're used to and the work really never stops," she replies shrugging.

"Wes would you say everyone's pulling their weight around camp?" Jeff asks next, and everyone looks at Wes for his answer.

"I haven't really noticed anyone not working full stop, but there's definitely some people that do a lot more than others. And it really starts to show on day 6 when it's the same people doing. The majority of the work," he replies and Lian nods.

"Lian your nodding, do you have the exact same opinion or could you pinpoint some people you don't feel are doing enough?" Jeff asks Lian and she laughs.

"Not people Jeff, just a particular individual that thinks they are above all the work. I mean they'll do the easy jobs like collecting firewood and checking our shelter, but when it comes to carrying lots of water or scrubbing pots or even cooking for the tribe that's when their true colours show throw," Lian says, glaring at Mabel with her cunning brown eyes.

"That sounds really specific Mabel, do you have any idea who she would be referring too?" Jeff asks, humour evident in his voice.

"She probably is talking about me, but really her opinion means nothing to me. She's just bitter that she's at the bottom of the tribe and I'm not," Mabel says flicking her hair behind her shoulders so she can match Lian's steely glare.

"It sounds as thought there's a bit of tension in the tribe, is that prominent back at camp Jackson?" Jeff asks leaving the girls do death glare each other.
"This is the first I've heard of it!" Jackson says, looking genuinely surprised at the scathing attacks each girl is making at the other.

"Do you think this kind of tension could be detrimental to your tribe in challenges Alyssa?" Jeff asks.

"Oh definitely, but like two others have mentioned previously if everyone pulled their weight we wouldn't have any tension. I think it's important to note that Mabel over there didn't seem very sorry about it. Maybe that's an indicator of how to stop the tension?" She asks innocently.

"Are you blatantly revealing who your voting tonight Alyssa?" Jeff asks, thoroughly surprised at the honesty of this tribe.

"I'm just saying it's defiantly something to consider!" She protest but Lian gives her a sly smirk when they notice Mabel's distraught face.
