Third Tribal Council
Universal P.O.V
The temperature dropped as the disappointed tribe trekked towards tribal council as night fell across the beach.
Bugs flocked the air and the buzzing sound of their wings, the cool waves rolling into the shore and crackling fire set the tense atmosphere of this tribal.
They filed into tribal council where Jeff Probst waited at the opposite side of the fire visibly excited.
"Iririki, welcome to your second tribal council. How does it feel being back here?" Jeff asks and the entire tribe mumbles words of disappointment.
"Not good Jeff, Not good," Penelope vocalised her emotions, shaking her head and looking at the ground.
"How did it feel losing that challenge Penlope, coming so close and loosing it by a couple of seconds?" Jeff asked, and Penelope winced.
"Yeah it was tough, you keep replaying it in your head thinking if I had gotten that throw in we wouldn't be sitting here," She said dismally and Nick gives her a comforting pat on the back.
"I think though Jeff, it is a team effort and no one is holding one person accountable for the loss," Nick said, and the rest of the tribe nodded.
"I can sense a real unity about this tribe, in such a short time out here has it been hard to make bonds Ashley?" Jeff asked and Ashley immedietly shook her head.
"I can't believe my luck with this tribe, everyone is hardworking and I feel like I have made some really strong connections out here," She said, and Rhea smiled.
"Rhea, considering bonds have been made so fast, do you think it will be hard as you need to start turning on these friendships," Jeff asked and Penlope turned to gauge Rhea's response.
"I think like the other said, our tribe is fairly unified so voting out anyone will be hard, but at the end of the day everyone is here for a shot at a million dollars and after losing the challenge today that has become all to evident," Rhea says, and Jeff nods his head slowly trying to piece together what this means.
"Meatloaf, you're the strongest guy out here, do you worry that as you go further on in the game people are going to start seeing you as a threat?" Jeff asks and Meatlof thinks about this for a moment.
"I think at some point we all do need to start thinking on a n individual level, but we're so early on in the game I think its so important to keep the tribe as strong as possible in the hope that next tribal we'll be at our camp and not in these seats," Colby nods at this, chucking a side glance at Penelope.
"Xavier, what has camp like been like, does everyone do their bit?" Jeff asks and Xavier smiles.
"Yeah actually we've all fallen into roles almost, some of us cook, some do more maintenance things, some clean and some gather. We're not far off a well-oiled machine," He jokes and cracks a smile from the rest of his tribe.
"Colby, what is your criteria for your voting tonight?" Jeff asked, and Colby pursed his lips, not wanting to reveal to much.
"I think for me its about who does the most for the tribe and who performs when we need them too – especially in challenges" Colby says. Penelope stiffens at his words looking down to her lap.
"Do you think, that because you lost by a small margin today that loosing a member might increase, or decrease your odds at the next tribal Nick," Jeff said, directing his attention back to the challenge side of things.
