𝘼𝙊𝙏 𝘾𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝘼𝙩𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙤𝙣 𝙏𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙣

01 :: To you, two thousand years later Pt. 1

Many of the cadets tried to break free but were unable to tear off the beat they bound them to their seats. To their absolute surprise, the bug white device let up when Reeni present a button on another small controller device, they guessed.

All stopped thrashing in their seats when something started to play on the device. Eren, Mikasa and Armin realised they were watching the people of Shiganshina.

The episode begins with the focus on birds redirecting back and forth between the citizens staring in amazement at the sky of the inner town of the Wall Maria. The birds fly past a huge hand and a voice over begins.

Eren : Is that...
Armin : No way!
Eren : How can we see this?!
Reeni : Like I said, i will show you your past.

Erwin realized that this was the day Wall Maria was breached and Shiganshina was captured by the Titans.

"On that day, mankind received a grim reminder", a shadow hovers over the town,"...of the terror of being at their mercy..." Giant skin-lacking head of the Colossal Titan appears,"...of the humiliation of being trapped inside a cage... We lived in fear of Titans, and were disgraced to live in these cages we called walls."

Jean : Hey Jaeger, that sounds like you.
Eren : Yeah but why am I narrating?
Chim : Take it as kind of like your future self telling it to someone.
Hanji : Is that the Colossal Titan?!
Eren : That bastard broke through wall Maria.

At Eren's words, Bertholdt visibly tensed and his eyes widened. Reiner placed a hand on his shoulder to comfort him. Annie had a stoic expression.

Scene switches to the Forest of Giant Trees with the Survey Corps on galloping horses. Shadis is seen leading the regiment. "All soldiers prepare for battle! There's only one target! We will exterminate it and claim this spot as humanity's first stronghold beyond the walls!"

Erwin : Oh no...
Connie : That's Shadis, right?
Erwin : He was the commander of the Survey Corps before me and the only commander to retire instead of being killed on battlefield.

"Target approaching!" The on-screen Erwin Smith announced. With him was Hanji as well. A titan was seen walking and Shadis made hand signals. "Divide into groups of five. Just like we practiced, we'll act as bait! All assault squads switch to omni-directional maneuvering!" The assualt squad were lifted from their horses by their omni-directional maneuvering gear that stuck to the giant trees as they made their way towards the Titan.

Hanji : Oh goody, that's us.
Erwin : That wasn't a good expedition.
Jean : What happened sir?

Erwin didn't bother replying, his hand went up to pinch the bridge of his nose.

Shadis gave a command again, "Strike from all directions at once!" Erwin flew towards the nape of the Titans neck, spinning with both swords in hand like a propeller, "Taste the power...of humanity!" A slice is heard and the screen goes black.

Eren : Awe man...just as it was getting interesting!
Armin : Eren! What if Commander Erwin had gotten hurt?
Jean : Like he cares. He's suicidal and wants to make everyone else too.
Eren : Oh yeah? Why don't you shut your horse like face and fight like a man?
Jean : Why you-
Reeni : Okay, moving on!

Beautiful purple flowers under the sun are presented and then blood splatters and taints. Open mouth is shown; a man's body lays on the ground with blood on his face and is then lifted; a small house is shown in a sunlit plain; Titans appear around it; a in-house fireplace is shown; bloody face; a room filled with child's toys; an eye with a bee around the sclera; more blood gushes; giant teeth are show; giant hands picking up a body. Eren wakes up. Two birds fly in the air. Mikasa is kneeling down looking at him as his head rests on a tree in a plain.
