Chapter 1: Adventure awaits

Lea's P.O.V.

I felt pillows being smashed in my face,I heard laughs...what the?!.. I open my eyes to see Heather and Sasha kicking me with their pillows. "Guys! Guys! Stop it... I'm trying to sleep here!" I hear them giggling. "C'mon! Breakfast's ready" Heather said,being like the big sister she is. I groan waking up from my sleep and go swimming to the table to eat.

"Hello! Good morning girls" my dad spoke while we started eating. We smiled at him and began eating...

We were done eating and me and my sisters go to our room and I sit in the window to look at the merman boy who I like.. but eh! he never notices me so why try?... OUCH! I get distracted from my thoughts for a moment "You like him don't you?" Sasha asked me. "Yeah,but what's the point? He never even looks at me!" Sasha giggles and asks: "So,got any adventure today?"

I thought of it for a moment and finally spoke "Maybe...I'll leave in a few minutes,I'm thinking of going to see the human world" Heather interrupted our conversation "Na-ah! girly! your staying here!" "But Heather!! PWEEASE!" I give her a puppy face look. "Fine! But promise you'll be back before midnight?" "Sure! Promise!" I smile big at her. She smiles back and Sasha hugs me. "Have fun!" Sasha said before I leaved.

I went swimming far,far away from home,looking back at the kingdom before leaving by the gates to go farther away from the sea and closer to shore. I looked around to see some dolphins by my side,I saw a little one who got closer to me to say hi. Yeah, it's weird that I know a little bit of dolphin language but that's just how smart I am! They gave me company for a little while and they coursed threw another path to the right. I kept swimming till' I could see the bright sunlight hitting the water above me.

I smiled and swimmed up to see I was closer to shore. I kept swimming and swimming until I saw something strange,the sand was moving and mixing all over with the water. The waves seemed to be moving very fast and there were alot of them. I swimmed closer when I was dragged by the waves,I tried to swim up a little and raindrops were hitting my face completely! The waves hitting me very hard and moving me...I closed my eyes while I tried to swim away but I couldn't! The waves were too strong!

I kept trying no matter what; I din't give up. But unfortunately I was dragged to shore with the strong waves hitting me. I landed on the sand. My head hurt like if I was hit with a rock or something and I was getting dizzy. I tried to drag myself to the water again but I had no strenght in me to go back in... On the bright side, I was somewhere hidden,atleast that's how it looked like. The human world is so misterious,so different,but who am I kidding? I don't even have those things human have called 'legs'. There was no use. I just stayed there for a while,getting even dizzier by the minute,breathing slowly but fast,the water lever was decreasing and the waves din't hit stronger anymore which made my tail lose strength since I it din't have much contact with the water that much anymore.

How it seemed to me to be like...and hour or so,I heard someone approaching closer,I heard sounds and I got worried! OMG! No one can see me like this? What am I gonna do? I got nervous and I was literally freaking out but thanks to that my head got even more dizzier! What am I gonna do?

I saw a boy with what seemed to have brown hair with curls getting closer. I widened my eyes as I got nervous. OMG! But now my vision was getting blurry... He kept coming closer.. But my eyes were closing as he kept coming closer and closer. The last words I heard were:

"Hello? Are you ok?"
