Chapter 3: Thank You

Lea's P.O.V.

I told him almost all of my life, literally, but not some details... Starting with my mom. Atleast he hasn't asked, I hope he dosen't.

"Are you ok?" I was carried out of my thoughts by Liam.

"Oh. Sorry. I zoned out for a moment"

"Don't worry" He says with a smile. "What about your family?"

Oh no! No! No! Exactly what I din't want to talk about... I guess I'll have to tell him anyways, there's no more use.

"Well... I have two sisters, Sasha and Heather. My father is the king of the kingdom. He's name is Jason. We all live in a castle and you know, we have our normal everyday lives. Eat, swim, sleep, play, all those random stuff." I said that kind of fast so when I finished I let out a big sigh.

"Sorry if I ask you but... What about your mom?" Noooooo! Liam, why? We we're doing so good. You just messed it all up... I take a deep breath and let it go. Just say it Lea! "Well my mom..sh-sh-she... She dosen't... Exist" With those words only he's face went all blank, he looked at me sad and confused. Awkward silence taking over the room. That's the reason why I'm always taking adventure. To forget about that. Instead I would just be all day crying my eyes out, me head in a pillow, I would probably have to visit a doctor. But atleast I got over it... Not completely.

"I-I'm so sorry Lea. I din't know anything."

"Don't worry, that was a long time ago. When I was 4 years old. So, nothing to worry about."

"Still I'm so sorry."

"It's ok. That's the 1st worst thing of my life though... But it's ok. She's the reason I'm here. She always talked so good about humans. I don't know why. I've always wondered myself. Maybe she had a crush on a human before meeting my dad. Or maybe my dad was a human. Or maybe she was a human! Omg! There's lots of questions that always pass through my mind when I think about that..." I say looking at my tail. Before I knew it, he starts talking.

"Umm.. Can I ask you something?"

"Sure.. What is it?" I said looking at him with confusion.

"First of all, why is that the first thing? Are there more stuff I should know about you?"

"Well... Yeah.." I saw trying to hide the other things in my life that make me uncomfortable. I don't know if to trust him... After All, he did help me when I crashed to shore so why not tell him? "Yes, there's more you should now! My life is great, yeah, but there are also stuff that bother me... It's not easy when you're a Princess you know?"

"Tell me about it..." He said looking at the ground.

"You know how that feels?" I say in confusion.

"Yeah! I do know! It's pretty hard to handle it" He says firmly like he know's what he's saying.

"So you're a Prince? Or... Something like that?" I ask shocked.

He laughs. "No... It's something different, but it's almost the same..."

"Tell me!" I say excited.

"Not until you tell me first."

"Ok then.. Well, it's just that I've became so famous that some mean girls make fun of me all the time! They won't stop bullying me! And-and... I feel like I'm alone sometimes, you know? The only ones who help me are my sisters and my best friend... My mom would've helped me too. But my dad just won't listen to my or my sisters! I just can't take it! Sometimes I just wanna go really far away from home and never be back again...NEVER!" I express myself in sadness and anger. Then I start crying and Liam hugs me.

"It's ok Lea... I know what you're going through, it's ok! Don't cry."

"Of course you don't know."

"Lea I do... When I was younger, I got bullied too. But hey! I'm still alive and no! I'm not alone. It's ok. You'll get through it. I know it's hard and painful and you just wanna die but you'll be alright. I mean... Look in the bright side! You're here, in the human world, and no one's bothering you! Unless I am"

"No. You're not. You're actually helping me. Cause' not even my sisters let me express myself this much... Thank You Liam! Thank You for helping me, for listening to me, and for everything you've done for me so far. You're a great human being and you're amazing! Whoever catches you're eye sure will be lucky!" Uhh... Why did I just say that last sentence.. He won't think I.. No! Of course not! I don't even like him so why would he think that?

Liam's P.O.V.

Aww! She's so sweet! Wait ! What did she just say? Does she like me... No Liam! Are you stupid? You just met her.. So why would she?

"Aww! Thank You Lea!" I say smiling. That was really nice of her.

"Well It's true! You're great! Even though I just met you." We both laugh at her statement there. You see Liam? Nothing to worry about!

"Hey! You haven't told me you're secret yet! So tell me..." She says wiggling her eyebrows. I just giggle and continue talking.

"I'm famous..." She squeels. "I'm in a band called One Direction, it has 5 members. Me, Harry, Niall, Louis, and Zayn! Which I really want you to meet them but you know... Just not yet!"

"I know, I know... So, anything else?"

"Right now Lea, we are the most famous boy band in the world!" She squeels again with excitement.

"Omg! I can't believe I'm in you're house right now" We both laugh. "Really! Really! Now that you just said that... I feel so special, literally."

"Thank You. Thank You." I say rolling my eyes. Suddenly she keeps laughing.

"What's wrong?"

"It's just that I can't believe this! The famous Liam Payne found a mermaid... No one's going to believe that!"

"My friends will, you'll see!"

"Yeah, yeah... Whatever you say Liam!" She says with a smirk on her face. Of course they'll believe me! Right? I'm sure they will...

"So, when are you ever giving me that liquid you say?"

"I really don't know... Maybe tomorrow!" She smiles wide with excitement but sadness at the same time.

She's very Nice! I understand her and I think she's gotten a lot close to me. Maybe she trusts me, but I think that was too fast. She's great, and not just because she's a mermaid! I think I kinda... maybe...
