(10) cookies {side story}

A/n: enjoy a little bit of fluff

Loki's POV:

I wake up to someone bouncing on my bed, I grumble and roll over to look at the clock "Why....It is 3 am!" then I hear a childish giggle "Wake up sleepy head!" I sit up letting my eyes adjust to the sudden brightness in my room. There before me was Ivory with way too much energy "child why are you awake?" I have her sit next to me, instead she snuggles under my arm and leans on my shoulder "couldn't sleep" Two words was all it took for me to understand "okay then. What do you want to do then child?" She looks at me "something fun" Then I hear her stomach growl and I laugh "I think i have an idea" I use magic to change my clothes and we walk out to the kitchen.

"so what are we doing Loki?" she hops onto the counter waiting patiently for my answer "baking cookies" Right she hasn't had them before, i grab a tablet and show her an image. She's basically drooling over it "you like the look of it?" I grin. She vigorously nods. I collect the ingredients needed and a couple bowls, then pick her up off the table. Due to her size she is barely the height of the counter, mainly as it was made specifically for an adults size cause the only 'kid' was peter, so i manage to find a stool and get her to step onto it.

Ivory's POV:

We mix a bunch of powders in one bowl and then some eggs and milk with some other stuff in a different bowl. I have an evil idea pop into my head and I sneakily grab a fistful of flour. I watch as Loki is busy putting some extra stuff away and wait for him to turn around, once he does I throw it towards him. He stops mid-walk and wipes away the flour on his eyes then turns towards me who is on the floor in hysterics. A shadow covers me and I look up, Loki has a giant clump of flour "Loki let's talk about this! You don't have to do this" he grins evilly "oh I think I do kid" I try to run but he's faster than me and i get a face full of flour. I shake off as much of it as I can and we take position on either side of the counter both with flour in our hands laughing loudly.

I brake the stalemate and lunge at Loki toppling him over. He cheats by tickling me, I can't escape from him and continue to laugh until I admit defeat "okay okay...you win...you win" I let out a sigh of relief as he lets go of me and as if nothing ever happened we go back to baking the cookies. All that's left is to put them in the oven and bake. During the baking time we ended up cleaning up all the flour we threw at each other. Once they were done it was early morning, mainly due to our massive fight scene, but we let them cool off and each have one. They were pretty good.

We must have been having too much fun as I didn't hear footsteps instead I only heard the door open and a tired looking Tony walks in to the room. He looks over at the both of us "Hey Tony. Want a cookie?" I hold up a cookie for him "umm no I'm alright" I put the cookie back with the rest of its friends. "so how long you guys been down here?" We both shrug and continue to finish our giant cookies. "JARVIS show me security footage from around when these two walked into the kitchen up till now. Oh and on tablet 3 thanks" I look at Loki and he looks at me, as if reading each others minds we thing 'we're screwed'. We try and sneak out but instead Tony has us sit on the floor and wait till he's done watching the video. "First: Your not in trouble so relax." we both let out a sigh of relief "second: Loki when she has energy or gets up too early your meant to put her back to bed even if t means staying up all night" Loki scratches the back of his neck "Third: I'm saving this video and showing it to the others. And finally your sharing the cookies Ivory" I grumble a bit "fine".

No one's POV:

Once the rest of the avengers woke up they were al rounded up into the room "JARVIS play the video on TV2" Tony grinned. Everyone watched the video of Ivory and Loki throwing flour at each other and playing fighting. They all burst out laughing.

After thing's calmed down they all went back to their everyday life in shield. Which when there's no missions is pretty boring.
