Two days later, Harry woke up to his phone buzzing underneath his pillow.

He and Louis were crammed together on his twin-sized bed, naked bodies hot and sweaty underneath the thin blanket that covered them. Louis stirred at the sound of the phone, but didn’t wake, even as Harry tiredly answered it.

“Morning,” He greeted through a yawn, rubbing a tired hand over his face, “It’s a bit early. Yeah?”

“Yeah,” Liam agreed on his end of the line, voice tight, “But it’s important. Mr. Smith called a meeting, downstairs in the lobby in ten minutes.”

Harry’s heart stopped in his chest and he bit his lip, looking down nervously at Louis who was still sleeping peacefully, “Do you think-”

“Yeah,” Liam said quietly and Harry clenched his eyes shut, not quite ready to believe it. “Just hurry down here.”

Harry tossed his phone aside and sat silently in bed, mind in a blank shock, as he stared down at Louis who had a small smile on his face as he dozed on. He was still trapped in dreams, still encompassed in Disney Magic, and now it was up to Harry to wake him up and drag him downstairs to have reality thrown at him and the Disney Magic ripped away.

How did one do that to Louis, childlike Louis with the boyish attitude, and charming smile?

With a heavy sigh Harry reached out and gently shook Louis’ bare shoulder, “Louis,” he whispered quietly, and the older boys stirred again, mumbling something incoherent, “Louis, love, wake up.”

Louis moaned tiredly, opening one of his eyes, “Sleep time love,” he mumbled, attempting to burry himself further in the pillows. Harry sighed and shook his shoulder again until both of Louis’ eyes were open, glaring up at him. “What Hazza?”

“Liam called,” Harry whispered, licking his lips nervously, eyes glued down on the blanket instead of Louis’ tired, curious eyes, “There’s a  meeting downstairs with Mr. Smith now,” his voice trailed off and he risked a glance up at Louis to take in the older boy’s face, which was contorted with wonder and then consumed with fear.

“The strike,” Louis breathed out, eyes wide with panic and Harry nodded slowly. Louis held Harry’s gaze for a moment longer, and then shoved himself out of bed, quickly going to the dresser and pulling on clothes, tossing mismatched items at Harry who still sat on the bed, watching Louis in a daze.

It was all going to be over.

“Harry!” Louis called, suddenly right in front of Harry, gripping his shoulders and Harry blinked up lazily. Louis’ eyes softened and he sighed, resting his forehead against Harry’s, “It’ll be fine love. But you need to get dressed, and we need to get to this meeting.”

Harry nodded slowly, and began to fumble around with his shirt, struggling to pull it over his bare chest, all the while watching Louis. It suddenly occurred to him that his mornings with Louis were numbered.

Waking up next to him, curled together under a thin blanket, wasn’t going to last forever.

In fact, it could be ending very, very soon.

When Louis opened the door Harry slowly followed him out, lost for words as the two silently made their way through the empty, eerie hallways. Harry ran his hand over the brightly colored Mickey Mouse faces that decorated the walls, mocking him.

“All fairy tails have to end sometime,” Louis whispered once in the elevator, and Harry cleared his throat and nodded, turning in surprise to Louis, who grabbed his hand. Louis smiled at him gently, “If this is one of our last days here, doesn’t matter who knows about us.”
