"Well, Miss L/n?" He said as I took another sniff. "Freshly fallen rain, old books, ink, and a small hint of firewood." I said he seemed to go into thought. He went back to his normal grumpy and emotionless self before walking away with his cape flowing behind as he checked other students potions before criticizing them. I went to put some vials back before accidently dropping one. "Whoops." I said, wincing a bit. "A week detention, Miss L/n." Snape said as I looked at him like he was nuts.

"On the first day? I didn't even mean to this time!" I said as I began to to pick up the pieces. "Two week for the attitude." He said as I rolled my eyes. "You're still bloody mad about the glitter in you're hair, Professor Sparkles." I grumbled loudly for him to hear. "You're pushing for three weeks, young lady. Class dismissed." He said as I shook my head. 'What a pain in the ar-' "Ow!" I said, feeling pain as it stopped my thoughts. I holding my palm and looked down to see a cut on it as it bled.

"God, you foolish girl. If you weren't so clumsy, this wouldn't have happened. You're smart enough to pass your class being at the top of them, yet you seem to forget you have magic." Snape said, walking over and knelt down. He picked up the rest of the pieces with his wand using Wingardium Leviosa as he grabbed my other wrist, pulling me up with him and dragged me over to his desk. "Sit." He commanded, pointed to his desk. I looked at it before hesitately hopping up on it. He dug through a drawer and pulled out a first aid kit.

"Give me your hand." He said as I thought against it as he could use this as revenge for my pranks. "Miss L/n, if you don't want your hand to keep bleeding, I suggest you give me your hand." He said sternly and in a voice I never heard before. Like he was concerned. I slowly held my hand out to him as he surprised me by gently taking it into his much larger hand. He carefully inspected it before grabbed a small rag. He dipped in a cup of water which I could assume he was drinking before gingerly wiping the blood away.

I continued to stare at him in slight awe for he's never shown anything but anger and hatred towards me. "I suggest you be more careful, Miss L/n." He said and let go of my hand as I took it back, holding it to my chest. "Thank you, sir." I said softly and looked down. He huffed and put the first aid back. "Get out then. You don't want to be late for lunch." He said, back to his cold self. I decided not to say anything and hopped off his desk before walking to the door. I looked back to see him sitting and grading papers before smiling gently. 'Maybe he isn't so bad as he portrays himself.' I thought before walking out and towards the bathroom.

I did my business before walking over to the sinks. I smiled softly washing my hands before looking around with a small smile before looking back in the mirror at my robes. 'How was I able to come to Hogwarts?' I thought to myself as I pulled out my wand to look at it with its detailed design. "Hey, filthy mudblood! Where's your friends? Or did they finally ditch you?" I hear Pansy ask as I rolled my eyes and turned to face her and her friends, putting my wand away.

"Pansy, just the girl I didn't want to see! I don't have time to deal with you. I don't want to be late for lunch." I said and crossed my arms. "Like you need to eat. If you ask me, you already have enough weight." She said and giggled as her friends followed suit. I faltured a little at that but covered it up. "At least I don't have to try so hard for Draco to like me." I said with a smirk as she immediately stopped laughing. "Why you little- get her!" Pansy said and pointed to me as her friends ran at me.

They started to attack me as I dodged best I could. One of them managed to strike me as I stumbled a bit. I felt my nose and smirked a bit. "Didn't hurt." I said as I looked at them. "Stupefy!" Pansy said as she hit me with the spell, causing me to fall back, stunned. I tried moving as she walked closer with a smirk. "Not so tough now are you, eye changing mudblood?" She asked as I looked at her in shock.

"How...How did you know?" I asked with fear as they laughed. "Word gets around. Heard your parents worked for He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. But betrayed him so he killed them off and cursed their only child." She said as she roughly kicked my side. My eyes changed to a red mixed with yellow, signaling that I was pissed and also scared. 'How many others new my secret?' I thought as they left laughing. I let myself go limp on the ground as I felt tears prick my eyes.

Once the Stupefy spell wore off, I struggled to get up. I held my side, knowing there will surely be a bruise from her stupid heel. I looked in the mirror to see dry blood from my nose and a few small bruises since they really hit like girls. I winced as I started walking out of the bathroom, but stopped. "Myrtle?" I asked and turned around and saw her floating a little above me. "I know. I won't tell a soul." She said and giggled as I slightly smiled.

I decided to skip out on lunch and went to the Hospital Wing to see if my ribs are okay since I hear a crack. I walked in as Madame Pomfrey looked over. "Oh my, Y/n! What happened?" She asked as I gave her a slight smile. "I'd rather not say, Madame Pomfrey. If that's okay." I said softly, knowing my eye color is back to normal. "Of course, dear. Now, let see what the damage is." She said and lead me to a bed before examining my injuries.

Snape's

I sat at my seat for lunch and noticed that L/n was not in her original spot by Potter. I watched as the group seem to have confused faces as they looked at their friend's empty spot. I was curious, but I decided not to pry anymore. After lunch, I went back to my classroom and went back to grading. I saw Lockhart running by and became curious as to where he was heading so quickly. I decided to follow him and found myself in the Hospital Wing.
