Danger Calls Again

Y/n's POV

Class was dismissed as I told Ellie I'd meet up later. I started cleaning our area, putting ingredients back where they should be when the door slammed shut. I looked over and went to turn around when a pair of hands rested on my waist while a chest pushed against my back. "You shouldn't tease during class. It could get us caught, Miss L/n." Severus said in my ear as I felt my heart skip a beat. "But, you seem to like the thrill of it." I said with a smirk and grabbed the caldron before walking away from him to put it back.

"You truly are a naughty, girl." He said as I turned to face him, crossing my arms. "You're just now figuring this out?" I asked with a smile and walked over to my desk. I was turned around and met by a pair of lips giving me a feverish kiss. I wrapped my arms around his neck, running a hand through his hair before gently tugging it. He let out a soft groan before lifting me up an placing me on the desk, standing between my legs as his hands were placed on both my thighs.

The kiss began to get more heated as he pulled away and moved my robes to kiss my collarbone. I let out a soft moan as he sucked on the spot before moving back to my lips, giving me a few pecks. I giggled and looked up at him, running a hand through his soft jet black hair. "You know, I should thank Dumbledore." He said as I giggled once more, pecking his lips. "Come, my love. We have lunch to get to." He said as he helped me off the desk before walking to the door.

"Oh, and you may want to hide that." He said as I looked at my with confusion before walking over to a mirror. I gasped when I saw a descent size dark purple bruise. "Severus! How the bloody 'ell am I supposed to hide this?" I asked as he let out a chuckle. "I don't know. You better figure it out." He said as I looked over to see how smirking a bit. I sighed and used my robes to cover up the hickey best I could before walking over. I playfully hit his chest as he chuckled, following me out of the class room. He put on his 'stone cold' face, but there was still a small smile on his face.

We got to the Grand Hall for lunch as I sat in my spot. "Hey, Y/n! We were thinking about taking a walk around the castle grounds. You in?" Ron asked as the gang sat down. I looked at Severus who seemed to enter my mind about the thought. He looked hesitant for a minute before nodding a little. I gave him a sweet smile and looked at them. "Of course. I think I could use a break from everything." I said with a smile and sipped my pumpkin juice.

Snape's POV

I was a bit against her going out of the castle, but she will be with Potter and her friends. I watched her closely as her eyes shined with happiness, her beautiful smile lighting up the room. I watched her walk off after breakfast as she held Short's and Granger's hand and swung their hands happily. I went up to the astronomy tower and watched them from there.

"Oh, yeah. I love to sing. It helps calm me down." I hear Y/n say as they sat next to a pond. "I use to sing too. It seems to be a muggle thing for some." Short said as Y/n giggled softly. "You guys should sing. We never hear it unless it's Christmas." Granger said as the boys nodded. Y/n leaned over and whispered to Short as Short nodded with a smile.

They finished the song as the trip clapped. "Blimey! You girls are wonderful!" Potter said with amazement. "Bloody 'ell do you girls have a set of pipes!" Ron said as Y/n and Short giggled. "What can we say? We're naturals." Y/n said and wrapped an arm around Short. Suddenly there was Dementors heading their way as they stood up.

"Run! Get into the castle!" Y/n said as she grabbed Shorts hand and ran for it. The Dementors we're getting close as Y/n stopped, pulling out her wand. "N/n, what are you doing?!" Potter asked as they looked back at her with worry. "Go! I'll distract them!" She said confidently as they trio seemed hesitant, but grabbed Short and ran.

I quickly knew Y/n couldn't handle the Dementors on her own and ran down as fast as I could. "Expecto Patronum!" I hear her shout as there was a sudden bright light, covering the castle causing some teachers, students and myself to shield our eyes. I opened and uncovered my eyes to see Y/n laying on the ground without the Dementors to be found.

"Y/n!" I said with worry and concern. I ran over and quickly knelt down beside her. "Y/n. My love." I whispered softly as I picked up her body which was limp. I leaned my ear next to her mouth and nose before sighing with relief. She was still breathing. I quickly picked her up and hurried to the Hospital Wing. "No doubt that bright light was her doing." Madam Pomfry said as I nodded, gently laying her down.

"There was another Dementor attack." I said as I backed up, letting Madam Pomfry do her work. "She's just been knocked out cold. No doubt that bright light overwhelmed her and took a lot of energy." She said as I nodded. "I don't think I've seen a spell that was so bright for Expecto Patronum." Albus said as I looked at him before looking back at Y/n.

"She's getting more powerful by the day. We need to keep her at a safe house. No exceptions this time." He said as I stared at the h/c girl. "I agree. I can't lose her, Albus. I just can't. I love her even more than I loved Lily. She brings out another part of me. A more calm and relaxing side. More happy." I said softly and sat in a chair next to Y/n's bed and held her hand.

"She's my muse. And she doesn't deserve any of this." I said softly and gently brushed her hair out of her face. "The world works in mysterious ways, Severus. All you can do right now is make sure you're with her. Make sure she's safe." Albus said as I brought Y/n's hand to my lips. "I'm never leaving her side again." I vowed softly before hearing footsteps fading out.
