It was a pretty nice day in the Thunderclan camp, the sun was out and the scent of leaf-fall was on the wind. It had been a few moons since her talk with Ravenwing and she was getting closer to becoming a full medicine cat. Her littermates, Petalpaw, Patchpaw and Larchpaw were only a few days away from earning their warrior names. They also had some apprentices be named a few moons ago, Spicepaw, Emeraldpaw, Eaglepaw, Sweetpaw, Dustpaw and Nightpaw. All of them were another few moons closer to becoming warriors.

Thunderpaw sighed and padded over to her littermates to share some prey with them. "Hey Thunderpaw!" Patchpaw purred. "Finally decided to join us?"

Thunderpaw rolled her eyes, "You know I had a big test today on herbs, but I am getting closer to being a full medicine cat though."

"That's great Thunderpaw!" Petalpaw, her sister, exclaimed. "We have our warrior assessments tomorrow so we will be gone all day!"

"Yeah! Seedpelt said that after our assessments, at Sun High, if we pass that is, we will get our warrior names!" Larchpaw said, excitement in his voice.

"Is something wrong Thunderpaw?" Petalpaw asked, noticing something was on her sister's mind.

"Its nothing..." Thunderpaw said, but she couldn't hide the worry in her voice.

"Its not nothing, we are your littermates, you can tell us!" Patchpaw told her, noticing that something was off.

"Its Appledusk, isn't it." Larchpaw guessed, "We haven't scented him in moons Thunderpaw."

"That's why I am worried. What if he is planning something big? Thunderclan hasn't been preparing for him incase he gathers rouges and loners to attack us! I can't stop thinking about when he attacked you Larchpaw, I felt so angry and scared!"

"Hey, hey easy Thunderpaw." Petalpaw soothed, "We get why your worried, and when we are warriors, the second we scent him we will run home and tell Oakstar. He won't let anything happen to us or Thunderclan."

Thunderpaw nodded, trusting her sister's words. "Thanks Petalpaw... You don't realize how much that makes me feel better."

"No problem, now no more being upset for now, lets eat this rabbit!" Petalpaw teased, and Thunderpaw allowed herself to be nudged to the rabbit and the three apprentices began to share the rabbit.

The next day, she watched as her littermates come running through the tunnel, their eyes shining. "We passed!" They all exclaimed at the same time.

"I'm happy for you!" She told her littermates, purring. Her whiskers twitched in amusement as she watched her mother, Mapleshade, sneak up behind Patchpaw and pounce, starting to groom him for the warrior ceremony. Patchpaw screeched in fear until he realized it was his mother. "Mother! I'm going be a warrior here soon! I can groom myself!" He complained.

"Uh huh, says the apprentice that didn't groom unless his mother pointed out that he need it?" She said, her voice skeptical. "I trust I don't have to groom you two?" She looked at her other kits, who were already grooming.

"Nope!" They both said at the same time. This entire time however, Thunderpaw was dying of laughter.

"Shut up Thunderpaw!" Patchpaw grumbled, though his eyes held humor.

This is how it should be. Thunderpaw thought to herself, managing to subside her laughter.

"May all cats old enough to walk, gather around High Rock for a Clan meeting." Oakstar called from High Rock.

Thunderpaw and her family went over to the High Rock, and split off with her mother to sit by her father, Birchface. She watched as her littermates became warriors. The clan called out their names as everyone did when the names were finalized.

"Petalleaf! Patchpelt! Larkwing!"

Appledusk's POV

So they've become warriors... Doesn't matter, I will take care of them in one week's time. I'm coming for you Thunderpaw, and your family too...
