The demoness walked outside of the manor. She was planning on breaking through the window since the door was no option. As she arrived in front of the window, she attempted to jump through it, only to bounce back. She steadied herself as she landed on the ground. She looked down on her left arm, seeing it burned along with the sleeve of her black dress and her elbow length glove.

"Well then, I guess the window is not an option either." She muttered. The butler clad in black neared her and spotted her burnt sleeve. He raised his eyebrow in a questioning manner.

"I assume that breaking through the window is no option either?" He asked and the demoness nodded. "Well, I gues there are no other options than to break down the wall."

"Go right ahead." She said. The demon butler ran towards the wall and crashed through it, making a large hole form.

She walked through the hole in the wall and looked around the dining hall, but was not able to find the earl. "He's not here, so I assume that the culprit took him somewhere else?"

"You may be right, m'lady." The demon butler replied looking around for clues, the demoness doing the same.

She paused and turned to look at the butler. "Dear, Sebastian, I am always right."

The demon butler smirked, but did not reply and kept looking around. The demoness did the same. They were both searching for clues, untli the demoness noticed something quite unusual.

"Sebastian, have you noticed that the servants hadn't rushed here when you crashed in to the wall?" The demoness said as she turned to face the butler. The aformentioned butler paused.

"You are right, M'lady. That is quite unusual." Sebastian said as he stood up and faced the demoness.

"And when we attempted to open the door, we got shocked by electricity, right?" The demon butler nodded in response to her question. "Amd also the window, when I attempted to break through it, it burned me."

The demon butler nodded, understanding her. "It seems like the culprit wanted to buy some time."

The demoness clicked her tongue in irritation. "They must've already fled the mansion by this time. We need to move quickly if we want to catch up."

"But there is one problem, miss. We don't even have one clue on who kidnapped my young master." Sebastian said.

"Hm, all we know is that the culprit has powers, since he or she was able to put up a barrier." The demoness said as she walked towards the hole in the wall.

"C'mon now, Sebastian, we're heading towards the undertaker." She said over her shoulder as she continued walking. The demon followed behind her. "By the way, we're running. I want to test out my newly enhanced speed."

The demon smirked and bowed to the demoness. "Yes, m'lady." The butler went ahead and started dashing through the forest. The demoness followed, catching up to the demon in no time at all.

"Hmph. If it is a challenge you want, fine."

"I'm quite surprised that you were not left behind." The demon butler said, smirking to the slightly panting demoness. The demoness regained her composure and looked away from the demon, fixing her wind blowned hair.

"I guess that I have a long way to go before I could defeat you, Sebastian." The demoness admitted. The butler was surprised, but smirked and made no comment. The demoness noticed her burnt sleeve. "Oh dear, I seem to have forgotten about my burnt sleeve. then I guess we'll have to visit a dress shop. I do not like being improper."

"If you wish, m'lady." The butler replied with a bow. The demoness looked at the demon in question.

"You know, I had noticed that you've been acting like a faithful dog to me. Is there a reason for that?"

The demon butler smirked. "It seems so. I do not have any particular reason for my actions."

The demoness narrowed her eyes, searching for any hint of lies, but found none as the demon hid it well. "Well then, I'll believe you for now. Let's go now, we cannot afford to waste anymore time."

'You will know in the right place and time, my dear Aura.'
