I sighed as I looked out of the room. A few days had passed since Kurai had left, and I hadn't seen him since. Also the fact that the lock on my emotions broke surprised me greatly.

I unconsciously placed my hand over my chest at the thought of the broken lock.

The cause was still unknown to me, and my thoughts about it are jumbled. I was both happy, and disappointed. Happy due to the fact that I was able to feel emotions again; the happiness that I felt when I kissed Sebastian was simply unexplainable. Though, I was extremely disappointed when I was able to feel emotions again; I quite liked the feeling of being emotionless. The pain of my twin's passing was now stinging again, but not as much.

I shook my head. Don't think about it anymore, Aura. You need to move on.

I sighed and stood up, running a hand through my hair.

"I feel like I'm forgetting something." I muttered under my breath. There was a slight nagging feeling at the back of my mind, like I was forgetting something. I thought hard about it for a few moments, before shrugging. "Must be something unimportant if I am unable to recall;"

A knock on the door of my bedroom broke me out of my thoughts. "Come in, Sebastian." I called out. In stepped in the aforementioned demon butler; a smirk on his face and his left hand behind his back.

"A pleasant morning, m'lady." He greeted, closing the door behind him. I crossed my arms.

"A pleasant morning to you too, Sebastian. And how many times must I mention it to you again; call me Aura. M'lady sounds a bit too odd for me."

"My apologies, Aura." He approached me, his smirk turning in to a smile. "I assume that you have forgotten what today is."

I raised my eyebrow at the statement. "How do you know that?"

He chuckled. "I heard you."

I smirked at him, placing my hands on my hips. "My, my, are you stalking me, Sebastian?"

He placed his hand on his chest, faking an offended expression. "Why I would never!"

We both laughed. I sobbered up and coughed, regaining my composure. "Alright, enough chit-chat; what is it that you have for me?"

He moved to reveal what he held behind his back, and my eyes widened in surprise. "Happy birthday, Aura."

I was speechless. How could I forget my own birthday? How could I forget I and my twin's birthday? I placed my hand over my mouth, tears welling up in my eyes in both happiness and saddness. "O—Oh my... I don't know what to say—Thank you, Sebastian. I just can't—Oh my..."

He chuckled and leant down to my level, wiping away the tears from my eyes. "It's alright Aura, let it all out." He placed the gift on the nearby table and encased me in his arms. I fisted his shirt, my whole frame trembling. I let out shaky breaths, refusing to cry out.

"I hope I'm not disturbing anything." I rubbed my eyes and turned to face the owner of the voice, my eyes lighting up at the sight of Kurai.

"K-Kurai..! Y-You're here!" He smiled and pushed his glasses, placing his hand on his hip.

"I apologize for my absence. I was just on an errand. I meant to come back yesterday, but I was a bit held back." He approached the two of us, my eyes trailing down to the sickle by his side, then shifted to the book in his left hand. "Happy birthday, Aura."

I took the book in his hands, tracing my own over the designs. I raised my head to meet his eyes. "What is this?"

He gestured to the book. "Open it." I did as he instructed and gasped. Cinematic records burst out as soon as I opened it, and my eyes watered at what I saw.
