- Annabeth POV -

We arrived at Kings Cross Station at 10:45 sharp. Before we left, Hecate had Iris messaged us, and we found out that we could all cast every spell without difficulty, and brew every potion no problem. That wouldn't stop me from reading the whole library...I read about the enchanted book haven in Hogwarts: A History. (With an ancient Greek translation spell, mind you!)

"What's the platform again?" Piper asked, checking her watch. "The train leaves soon!"

"Nine and three-quarters...which doesn't exist?" Jason replied, looking between platforms nine and ten, then back down at his Hogwarts letter.

Hazel frowned at the divide between the platforms and walked up to it. "I sense...some sort of tunnel here? I can't see where it goes... that's weird." She traced her fingers against the brick, before closing her eyes and stepping towards it. "Here goes nothing..." she muttered under her breath before walking straight into the wall. She disappeared. I was fascinated.

"Umm..." Jason sweated. "As much as I love hitting my head with bricks, how do we know Hazel is okay?"

Frank looked determined. "That's an even better reason to go!" And with that he stepped through the wall.

I was dying to see the other side and make sure Frank and Hazel were ok, but I let a trembling Jason and an amused Piper go first. Leo moon walked in, and after him went Thalia, Will, and Nico.

I grabbed my Seaweed Brain's hand, and together we stepped through the wall. I closed my eyes and waited for the crash, but instead turned up in a whole new place. Amazed, I looked around. The entrance was flanked by two strong pillars. I took in the architecture, impressed. I was definitely adding this into my sketch of Olympus!

A shiny black train stood proudly on the tracks. I tried to make out the name, which seemed to say Warthogs Espresso. I quickly performed the translation spell with my new wand, and understood that it actually said Hogwarts Express. Not that that made much more sense.

Leo's eyes lit up. "Holy Hephaestus! That is one sweet work of art!" He swung up onto the train eagerly, and started to search for an empty compartment. The rest of us followed.

After finding an empty compartment, the demigods piled in. I got myself a nice seat by the window, keen to learn more about where we were heading.

"Darn it." Percy, Thalia, and Nico were left standing after we all had claimed spots.

"You guys should try and find another compartment. But Neeks, you are welcome to sit on my lap! Will said cheekily, winking at the son of Hades.

Nico became flustered and turned bright red. "I..um...well...I...!" He awkwardly scooted out of the compartment.

Thalia rolled her eyes. "Well done Solace. Come on Kelp Head, let's find another compartment."

The bickering two left, and I got my peace and quiet reading time. Well, not really, Piper and Jason were not exactly...quiet. And Will, Hazel, Leo, and Frank were playing some strange form of pinochle. Lets just say a lot of arguing and spontaneous combustion was involved. Sighing, I wished that Percy could have stayed. Then I wouldn't be as afraid of the compartment going up in flames.

This was going to be a long train ride.

- Harry POV -

Finally. Going back to Hogwarts. I stretched my legs out and grinned.

"Hermione! Can't you close your book for a second?" Ron asked with puppy eyes. The couple had grown apart a little after the war, but were still annoying. Me and Ginny breaking up made the Weasly Visits awkward.

"What is it this time Ron? This better be good!" She said, slamming her book closed forcefully for the 200th time.

"Erm..." Ron was saved from answering when someone knocked on our compartment door.

A boy with dark, wind blown hair, and wary sea green eyes stood in front of us. Behind him was a Goth looking girl with short black hair and electric blue eyes. She looked irritated. I scooched slightly away from her. At the back was a short, olive skinned boy with messy dark hair and endless black eyes. He seriously gave me the creeps.

I locked eyes with Ron. Something was off about them...they radiated power. Especially the creepy boy...he radiated death. I expected that a couple Death Eaters might show up this year, and I was almost 100% sure he was one.

Seeing my skeptical look, Hermione quickly invited them in before I could turn them down.

"You must be the American transfer students Molly was talking about! I'm Hermione, and these are my friends Ron and H-"

"Harry Potter." I interrupted. It was best to be upfront, to strike first.

I expected some sort of reaction, or at least recognition, but they didn't seem to care.

"You know, like the savior of the wizarding world!" Still nothing.

Hermione looked at me, exasperated. She was always chiding me about showing off. Oh well. I was famous, and she knew it.

The transfer students looked confused.

"Okay?" The first boy with the intense sea green eyes half asked.

"I'm Percy Jackson, this is Thalia. He gestured to the goth girl who was eyeing me suspiciously. And this is Nico di Angelo. The death eater boy looked straight at me, like he was looking deep into my soul. Seriously creepy.

Ron stared blankly between Hermione and the newcomers.

"Why are you here?" He asked bluntly.

Taken aback, Percy replied matter of factly.

"All the other compartments were full, but we can just leave if you don't want us here." Percy started to back towards the door.

Hermione quickly backtracked.

"No no it's ok! Here, have some sweets!" She said while casting Ron a dirty look.

Thalia picked up a chocolate frog, and stared blankly at it.

"Is there an actual frog in here?" She asked suspiciously as she poked it.

How dare she take my candy! And how dare Hermione offer my candy without my permission to Death Eaters! What happened to being the brightest witch of her age when she can't even see who the enemy is!?

I angrily snatched my chocolate back.

"Hey!" Thalia exclaimed indignantly.

I scowled at her. She knows why I took it back, why I refuse to be civil. Like I would ever share my food with a Death Eater!

Ron looked sideways at me. "Mate, my love of food is rubbing off on you!" He chuckled a little and popped a white Bertie Botts Every Flavor bean. Typical Ron. He's just as oblivious as Hermione.

"Mmm! Marshmallow! He exclaimed.

I saw Percy, Thalia and Nico exchange glances.

"We've gotta go meet up with our other friends. It was er...nice meeting you."

He said it in a tone that made me think that he didn't like us very much. The feeling was mutual.

Percy closed the door behind him and I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding.

"What were you doing!?" Hermione cried the second they were out of earshot.

"What was I doing!? What were YOU doing!? Can't you see they are Death Eaters! Use that genius brain of yours, if you have one!" I fired back.

She opened and closed her mouth several times.

"Boys!" She finally muttered, as if we were the worst thing she could think of.

I don't care if Hermione and Ron were being blind, I would get to the bottom of this. I wasn't the chosen one for nothing.

Peace out! :)
